Guestbook comments from the owner

This place was wonderful! The location was great. Everything we really wanted for our vacation was within walking distance, it made it very convenient. We loved the walks on the beach, and the beautiful sunsets. It was our anniversary and vacation wrapped into one. The cottage is very cozy and romantic. Definitely will be back. It gets top ratings from us. We loved it. Thank you.

Fantastic stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in the 2nd floor studio in mid April and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect! There were many restaurants, bars and gift shops within easy walking distance.

I really can't add much more than others have said. If you are looking for a great vacation spot, do not hesitate to choose this place!

What a delightful place for vacation!

  • 5 of 5

I hesitate to write a good review for this place for fear that it won't be available for us when we went to go but alas I must! We spent a week in the upstairs studio of the cottage and will definitely be going back. The place was immaculately clean with a large modern and fully stocked kitchen including stove, oven, microwave and full refrigerator. The queen bed was very comfortable. There was also a convenient large walk in closet to store luggage and hang clothes and there was also a washer and dryer which came in really handy. The cottage is stocked with so many little extras and it seems like the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. Every morning and evening we enjoyed the large private deck. The location couldn't be better as it is right across from the beginning of John's Pass and only a short walk to the path to the beach in the back of the cottage. The bar directly across the street has live music every day and night and they had some really decent musicians and it was great to be able to just go across the street and hang out. You can hear the music from the cottage but it was not intrusive at all. The owner, Cheri and her husband Mike could not have been nicer and more helpful and they always responded with any questions immediately. It was obvious to us that they really enjoy making sure their guests have everything they need and enjoy their stay and will go out of their way to help you if need anything.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to let others know what a special place the cottage really is. While it is quite the popular spot, I'm hoping you will be able to come back soon for another visit. I have many repeat guests, and I hope they keep coming back to visit. We really do enjoy having the cottage and we always try to do whatever we can to make sure our guests have a pleasant visit.

comfortable and charming!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at Cherie's cottage for 9 days, and would love to stay even longer on my next trip to the area. It's exactly as pictured, inside and out, and was very clean. Everything's in good repair. I only used the kitchen for heating up leftovers (walking distance to so many great restaurants!) and making coffee, but everything you'd need for cooking is provided. The bed is really comfortable!

The balcony is HUGE, and I enjoyed having morning coffee outside. There are soft covers for the lounging chairs, and after a long day at the beach, it was a pleasure to come 'home' and relax on a comfortable lounger.

Wifi was speedy, and it was nice to not fuss with a password.

Cherie's response time was so fast, and she's very friendly.

The only thing I'd suggest to enhance the stay would be to replace the hair blow dryer - it's old and doesn't work well.

I loved the Cottage!

Nice place for two

  • 4 of 5

Stayed first two wks of March 2016. Very clean and comfortable for two people. Close to beach, food, and shopping. Nice deck for sunning or shade, nice for morning coffee and breakfast or other meal if not eating out as we did most of time. Washer/dryer worked great although old, Good old Kenmore appliances. Plenty of towels for bath& beach. We highly recommend and would be back next year except was not avail.

The Smiths.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words about my cottage upstairs unit. I am so glad you had a great stay, I always try to make sure my guests are comfortable. You were one of the first to stay in the newly remodeled kitchen and new floor throughout. The cabinets, island and range are all brand new. Next will be the refrigerator and washer/dryer unit. Thank you for being my guest.
