Love love love!!

  • 5 of 5

Pat was so kind and attentive! All was clean and complete. Everything we needed was there. It was the perfect location for touring the Cliffs, Limerick, Adare and even running to Dingle for a day trip. Pat even helped us with scheduling the ferry for the Aran Islands making things easier and faster for us. I would tell anyone and everyone to stay here!

Delightful Irish Cottage

  • 4 of 5

We were greeted by Pat and Maura on our arrival at their very picturesque cottage in Kildimo, Ireland. The cottage flowers were still in bloom so that, in itself was very heart warming. Pat even had fresh goodies that he himself had baked. He was also very helpful in giving us suggestions as to which places are of interest around the area to visit. We gladly took his advice and were more than happy that we did. We would certainly stay again if the opportunity ever presents itself for another visit to this amazing country. Pat is one of the shining gems....

Great place as a base for touring South-West Ireland

  • 4 of 5

Coolbeg provided a great base from which to visit much of south-west Ireland. Rather than search out bed and breakfasts in all the areas I wanted to see and pack up and move each day, I decided to pick one spot as a base of operations and make day trips. From Coolbeg I had easy day trips out to Rock of Cashel, Cliffs of Moher, Ring of Kerry and Dingle. The cottage itself is easy to find, just outside Old Kildimo on N69, with all amenities close by (less than 12km). It is quite comfortably furnished. The only downside I experienced was early morning (around 5:30) traffic noise due to me being a relatively light sleeper. Pat was a gracious host, ever ready to assist and provided great tips on what to see.
