Welcome to CASA LINDA beach house, available for monthly rentals only. Our beautiful home is located on North Clearwater Beach, right across the street from the beach. Clearwater was voted best beach in 2016 by Trip Advisor! We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood on Clearwater Beach just one mile north of all the action of popular Pier 60 with all its activities, the famous Frenchy's and Palm Pavillion restaurants, as well as the Sand Pearl Resort. A 15 minute walk down the beach or a 5 minute bike ride on one of our 4 bicycles will get you there. Walking north you can find shells all the way up as you leave Clearwater, walk past a sandbar, and end up on Caladesi Island, a state park only accessable by foot or by boat.
Our home is a newly renovated and newly furnished 2 story private house. The upstairs (main house) is 3 Bedrooms 2 Baths decorated in a modern beachy style and features great views from the livingroom, kitchen, and bedrooms. The livingroom has a flat panel TV and wood-burning fireplace to make you feel cozy. The kitchen has a spacious granite counter top the color of beach sand and has numerous kitchen gadgets for the serious cook. Our dining table seats 10 people plus the kitchen counter has 4 barstools. The master bedroom has a king size pillow-top 100% organic latex foam mattress with Tommy Bahama bedspread and 800 thread-count sheets. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queen mattresses, 600 thread-count sheets, with coastal-inspired bedding and decor. All bedrooms have ample closet space and dressers.
Downstairs is a separate living space that is included in the rental and can be used for a 2nd family travelling with you, an in-law suite, or perhaps a teenager den. It is 1 bedroom 1 bathroom decorated in a nautical theme. The living room has a flat panel TV and a dining table with 4 chairs. The small kitchen is complete, with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The bedroom is a bunk room that has 4 twin beds. The bathroom has a shower and tub.
The back yard consists of a covered patio, paved large outdoor space with private hot tub, outdoor dining tables, chairs, chaise lounges, ping-pong table, gas BBQ grill, and tropical flower garden. There's an outdoor shower to get the salt and sand off, too. The side yard is really an empty lot, as the property sits on 2 lots. We have a volleyball and badminton net, frisbees, and a Corn Hole game, so plenty of grass for sports on our property.
The garage contains 4 bicycles, a cabana, umbrellas, many beach chairs, beach toys, floating noodles, coolers, and of course we have tons of beach towels in the house. And there's room for your car.
Down the street one-half mile away is the community swimming pool, tennis courts, playground, shuffleboard, bocci ball court, and yoga classes. Restaurants abound, as well as miniature golf, water-sports rentals, a pirate cruise, golf courses, deep-sea fishing charters, and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home to Winter the dolphin, made famous in the movie 'A Dolphin's Tale'.
Nearby St. Petersburg offers many museums including the new Salvador Dali Museum, as well as the smaller St. Pete-Clearwater Airport (all 20 minutes away). Tampa has the larger international airport (40 minutes away), Busch Gardens, and Adventure Island theme parks.
Depending on the month of your stay, sports abound! Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Lightning, NY Yankees, and the Phillies. Concert halls and theaters are in all directions, all within 30 minutes drive.
There's so much to see and do here, and so much natural beauty to enjoy here. Have a relaxing vacation at CASA LINDA.

I am a native Floridian (really!) and enjoy the beach, the water activities, and the beautiful sunsets. My husband and I live in Tampa, we raised our 2 kids here, and we spend our weekends at Casa Linda, our vacation home on Clearwater Beach. We bought this home in 2010 and totally updated it in 2011. We decorated it to reflect our love of the sand and the sea. We have many years of experience renting our ski home in Park City, so now we are doing the same locally here at the beach. We are owners and managers, so when you arrive you'll be personally greeted by us, not a company representative, and when you enter Casa Linda, you'll be entering our home as our dear guests. Anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable would be our pleasure.
Recently (Dec. 2013) I became a real estate agent and I hope one day to be selling vacation homes to guests who fall in love with the Florida lifestyle.
Linda purchased this house in 2010
I grew up near the beach in Florida but never on it, so when the opportunity arose, we chose this property. Our house is right across the street from the beach. At sunset we'll grab our refreshments and beach chairs and head to the sugar white sand to watch some of the most colorful sunsets on earth. Life is good!
A perfect early morning for me is making a latte in my kitchen and then beachcombing the sand before the crowds arrive to find the prettiest sea shells. A perfect afternoon is a day at the beach, sunny skies, warm water, some waves, and good friends to enjoy it all. A perfect summer night is my volunteer job nest-sitting during a full moon and then over 100 turtle eggs hatch on my shift. I count them, record data, and dig a trench in the sand to help them crawl to the water to begin their journey. Ahh!
My family has been vacationing in Clearwater Beach, FL for the past three years, and this was the best year yet, mainly because of this amazing house across the street from a semi-private beach. Everything we could have hoped for was there waiting for us, and the owner was very attentive. We had only 9 people, including 4 adults and 5 kids ages 3-15. The four older kids stayed in the separate unit downstairs, and the youngest on one of the toddler mattresses up in the main house with the adults. I would happily stay in Casa Linda again and would highly recommend it to others.
Our family spent an incredible month at Casa Linda Beach house. Such a fun, well decorated home. It had everything we could possibly have needed. (Even a Christmas tree!) The owners had taken care of our every need. It was so close to the beach! We even enjoyed singing carols around the piano!
Great place to stay!! Owner is Awesome!!!
We spent 3 weeks at this property over the Christmas Holiday season and what a holiday it was. The location could not be better and the home is better than the pictures suggest. We were a large family with young adult children. The main living area is very large with many seating areas. The open kitchen was perfect for holiday meal celebrations. You could still visit with your family/guests while busy in the kitchen. The master bedroom with the king bed and ensuite was very comfortable and lots of room to move around. The other two bedrooms on the main floor were also spacious and very comfortable. The downstairs separate unit was perfect for the adult children so that they could have privacy, yet a comfortable place to stay. As for the owners, they were unbelievably welcoming and responsive to any questions or concerns. After a single e-mail over a minor issue of a flat tire on a bike, we heard from them immediately and the repairs were done before we knew it. You will not be disappointed in the location either. Everything you need from beach chairs and umbrellas to coolers and a beach wagon are provided - just steps to the beach and downtown area. We seldom used our car except to go golf. Thank you so much Linda and your husband for making our holiday wonderful. We are re-booking for next year.
I can't say enough about our family vacation at Casa Linda. Altogether there were 13 of us with our 3 kids and their families which included 5 grandchildren ages 6,years (2) 3-1/2 year olds, a one year old and a 3 week old. Everything was perfect. From my first contact with Linda about the house I could tell it was going to be a great choice. I checked out a lot of VRBO's in Clearwater but when I found this post I just knew it was "the one". From the location, to the colorful and fun decorations, to all the special touches, everything just makes you smile about this house.
The kitchen table fit all 12 of us, including a high chair. It was so nice to be able to eat every meal together around the same table. One of our favorite meals was a shrimp boil where we all sat around the big table and the rule was "no utensils allowed". It was so much fun.
The bedrooms were perfect and each decorated so cute. My oldest son and his family used the downstairs bunk room. The kids loved it and took turns getting to sleep in the top bunk. They are the early risers too so they could sit and have cereal and watch tv in the morning in their own living room without worrying about waking anyone upstairs.
One of "the moms" favorite things was the outdoor shower. They just left shampoo and soap out and every day after the beach the kids got a big kick out of showering outside. There was no fussing about showers which was amazing.
Everything we needed for the beach including tents, toys, towels, coolers, chairs and the ever popular with our clan "corn hole" beach game. We loved being able to load everything up on the cart to roll across the street to the beach.
The backyard with the picnic tables, grill and of course the hot tub, was wonderful. The grandkids didn't put up a fight leaving the beach because of course it was outdoor shower time and then an after dinner dip in the hot tub. We never had a chance to play ping pong because of the evening rains but we plan to come back again and hope to play it then.
The bikes got lots of use by my husband and a few of the "big kids".....and with 5 grandkids, so did the washer and dryer. I can't say enough about how much fun we had at Casa Linda and how wonderful it was for our family to spend a week together there.
I will end by quoting my oldest son who made the following comment our first evening as we were all gathered in and around the hot tub......"everything we need is right here!"
We had a family get together at Casa Linda - 10 of us from 3 states - ages 4 to 65. It was the perfect place for us. The house is in a ct location, so near the beach. And, everything you need for the beach -pop-ups, towels, toys, etc. is there. Inside, there are the ocean views and plenty of room. The grandkids enjoyed the circular table in the "piano room." Hot tub was great. Finally, the owner, Linda, was wonderful. We wil return! We write this review with some hesitation . . . Casa Linda may be the best kept secret in Florida !!!
Sea turtles lay their eggs on our beaches year after year in May and June. Hatchlings arrive July through October. Volunteers from the Clearwater Marine Aquarium 'babysit' the protected nests and some lucky residents and visitors have the opportunity to see hatchlings make their way to the water.
