Small one bedroom condo in quiet residential section of Beach. Condohas three floors with elevator. Each unit has private balcony facing the Gulf. Cross walks offers easy beach access. 1 K 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa
We were very pleased with our one-bedroom condo. It was just like the pictures showed. We had a nice gulf view with a short walk to the beach.
Charcoal grills were provided so we were able to grill out. It was a more family oriented beach which was perfect for our 7-year old. We enjoyed our stay!
I wish I could give a lower rating but not possible. This condo is the most rundown piece of crap I have ever stayed in. As you can see from another review one year ago that the show handle was loose and horrible, well it fell off in my hand when I first tried to shower. As you can see Mr. Shumack is not reading the reviews or he would have fixed damn shower. The furniture is something Goodwill would not accept. The filth in this condo is beyond horrible. We have not privacy since we have been here with the blind on the sliding door missing 7 panels. We have to put a sheet over it. Do not spend your good money on this dump. There is what looks like structural damage on the outside of the condo's. Why are we still here, it is the only thing we could bet. They could not give us anything else.
We were booted our of our original rental of a 2 bed 2 bath condo....because of selling it. But, we were not compensated at all.....Same money for a 1 bed 1 bath dump....for 6 grown ups. It was the worst place we have stayed in. Shower was horrible, handle loose on cold and hot water....hide a bed was not sleep-able, and balcony sloped so bad, you could not sit on it. We were notified l 1/2 weeks before, and we had to accept it because of a wedding we were attending. We had to stay out of room as much as possible because too crowded for 6 people, and the blow up beds we had to bring took up so much room. No one got to sleep late...we were only compensated by 6 extra towels....Not fair...we booked in February, but paid June rates for half as much as we had reserved. We come every year, but will not be booking in the Sand Dollar, or with Gulf Properties. They did us wrong.
My wife and I have been to Navarre Beach a few times staying in a friends condo each time. This time, the condo wasn't available, so we found the Sanddollar.
We were very pleased.
It is far enough away from the big hi-rises at the bridge to avoid the crowds and it's quiet. We found that each day we went to the beach the other tenants respected each others space and went back to the same patch of sand each day.
Anyway, let's talk about the good customer service... When we got there we found that the A/C wasn't working. We went down the road to the managers office. They apologized and gave us a different unit (#3). This unit was not to our liking as #5 was for a number of reasons. All of these reasons were personal preference and had nothing to do with it's amenities, the management had no reason to change us yet again to another room but when we stated our desire to get back into #5 they quickly fixed the A/C and we moved back in the next day for the rest of the week. That's pretty good customer service when you think that we basically occupied to rooms that week (from a house-cleaning standpoint) and they didn't have to change us back. The only reason they did it is so that we would be pleased - and that counts for a lot with me.
The rooms and furnishings are what you would expect in a fairly priced beach condo. It has everything you need. Stop at the grocery on the way down and stock up for the week.
What you see in the pictures is accurate. The property is clean and well maintained.
I would recommend 5 (and 3) for a couple. It's just the right size for two.
There are decent bars, restaurants and activities nearby but, if I were you, I'd just relax on the beach and swim in the Gulf each day.
Easy Access to beach with private walk over.
