Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath beach house located in a sound front project with a dock and community pool. The property has has 2 queen beds and Four twin beds. The upper floor iis a loft (Lookout) with spactul views of the sound and Navarre Bridge. There is a boardwalk directly across Gulf Blvd to the emerald green waters and sugar white sand of the beach.

This property is located in a small project on navarre beach directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Currently there is a new pool and spa deck area under construction that will be completed this spring. It is tastely decorated and set up for the ideal family vacation,

The Navarre Beach fishing pier and maratime park are within walking distance from the unit. Juannas pegoda offers dining, playground and volley ball events in the spring, summer and fall seasons. Bycycle, paddle board and kayak rentals are available at the Boardwalk Shop just across the street.The Bedding includes a Queen int the master bedroom two full beds in the second bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa. The two bedrooms are on the 2nd level but the living room with the sleeper sofa and bathroom and kitchen and dining room are on the groujnd level.

Navarre beach is known for its emerald grreen waters and crystline white sand beaches. The island is 4 miles in length and is nestled between the Eglin Military Reservation and the Gulf Island National sea shores. The Navarre park is located on the east mile of the beach and features an the Navarre beach Marine Park . The Park contains numerous picnic pavilions with charcoal grils and tables for family gatherings, There is a Marine Science Station in the whis host progrems for children K=12 children covering all aspects of the beach enviroment including local sea life, turtles and shells. There is a Navarrer beach Marine Sanctury and artificial reef that contains 90 Structures and is located 340 Feet of the shore. The provides a great opportunity for scuba, snorkling and kayak fishing.

On the west end of Navarre Beach is the Gulf Island National Seashore. The is a 19 mile streach of protecd beach area which offers several beach praking areas and a ranger station with picnic pavilions and restrooms. The drive through the Nationa Seashore offers great views of the pristine beach and seabirds in their natural habitate, The views of the natural dynamic dunes are spectacular.

For the die hard golfer Hidden Creek Golf Course is jus 6 Miles from Navarre Beach on East Bay Blvd. They are open to the public and the course well maintained and reasonably priced. The also feature and beautiful club house and excellent restarrant and bar,

Other area attractions include the Gulf Breeze Zoo located jus 11 miles West of Navarre on HWY 98. Their displays are in a natural settings and they offer a wide variety of animals. The also offer many programs for children.

Restarurants on Navarre Beach include Sailors Grill on the Navarre Causeway, Brooussards Bayou Grill at the corner of the causeway and Gulf Blvd, The Windjammer on the Navarre Beach fishing pier and The Beach House restaurant in the new Marriott

This condominium is centrally located in the residential section of Navarre beach and offer great view of the unspoiled ocean waves and sun rises and sunsets. The beach is a dynamic natural structure constantly moving and changing its nature. Mostly tranquil it can turn in a heartbeat and become a challenging dynamic. Rain, wind, waves, hail and hurricanes shape the white crystalline sands of the barrier island. The beach invites us to enjoy its beauty but demands respect, The system of flags gives us a clue to the conditions in the surf. These are serious signals and should not be ignored. Rip currents often occur when the surfs up and are very dangerous. Safety is always paramount and common sense is important to full enjoyment of the beach experience. Nobody should ever challenge mother nature. She always wins.

Stuck in the 80's but most of all blinds broken and furniture broken

Six flights of stairs to top bedroom which has two twin beds. The dinning table had two chairs and all of the blinds were broken. All outside furniture was broken

Owner's Response: I am so sorry you had a bad experience .I have addressed these issues with the owner and he brought down a new dining room table, chairs for the other table , had the carpets cleaned and will have somebody paint. The blinds have been taken care of. I hope you give us a second chance and I will make sure you are compensated for your next visit. Thank You Stephanie Mays

Renters beware Waste of money-$3000/week rental. Couldn't give zero stars Huge Disappointment!!

The owner of the Captain's Lookout should be ashamed to rent the house in this condition. All of the vertical blinds are broken, carpets are very stained and gross and the living room furniture is stained. Walls have unidentifiable stains-looks like blood or food. The 2 vacuums in the laundry room do not work. Only 2 normal glasses in the cupboard for drinking. The dining table has 2 chairs of six. Almost all of the items in the garage are broken except one bicycle-leftovers.

Not sure who is paid to do the cleaning but a new company should be hired-I paid to have a maid service come the first day we went in. Had to pay $300 to get it cleaned. All bathrooms were moldy and hairs all over the floor. One towel per bathroom. I purchased 8 white towels which I left. The company I hired said the kitchen was the worst they had seen. Drawers and cabinets filled with sand and all items had to go through the dishwasher before they could be used-dried in food and stuff stuck on them-I used plastic utensils all week. Very poorly taken care of. No basic supplies to clean-had to purchase everything-mop, broom, dustpan which I left for someone to use. All bed linens had to be washed due to sand being in the bed-we hadn't even slept in the beds. Dead roaches in the hallway. Coffee machine had mold growing out of the lid-bought one. The carpets need to be replaced because they are very stained and hairs are tangled into the fibers. Nothing is more gross than finding an assortment of hairs on your socks and on the bathroom floors that aren't yours.

There is an electrical problem in the bedroom with the trundle beds right off the 2nd floor stairs. When you turn on the lights it blows the fuse to that room and bathroom.

I know houses are rented in mass quantity but in the 20 years I've been renting I have never been this disappointed. I would caution you from renting this unit until the owner does major clean up. I had hesitations on renting based on the previous reviews which I discussed with the property manager and was told the owner had "done some work" (unknown)-sadly it lived up to it's reputation. I emailed the property manager and I encouraged them to view it and talk to the owner. It's a shame that I had to spend A LOT of additional money for a cleaning service and supplies and lost a day of my vacation cleaning house. I would love to have that money back but I won't hold my breath waiting for the owner to pay me back. Be cautious when renting this unit

Another great stay!

This is our fifth time in 9 years to stay in this house. The management company staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The house is becoming very dated and needs some new furniture...dining chairs, living room furniture and master bed. We really appreciated the new stove and refrigerator.

Love, love, love the location and amount of space in the home.

Dated and Disappointed

We booked this rental and paid close to $900 for 3 nights stay. The outside looked great but the inside was a different story. There were huge cobwebs with flies in the ceiling corners of the living room. Tile in the kitchen was replaced with totally different tile. Decorations were probably from the 80s - which we saw on the photos but realized the magnitude when we got there. Couches had covers - didn't look what was underneath. Woke up after the first night and there were about 100 ants in the master bathroom sink. Went to the rental office and was given a bottle of "stuff" to spray. Strong mildew smell when you opened the bathroom cabinet. We found band-aids stuck to the comforter in the master bedroom - not ours. Master bed not comfortable at all. Very worn. I am giving it 3 starts only because office staff was super friendly and we were able to walk to the beach. Other than that - we were disappointed with the quality of the condo. Needs alot of TLC.

Friendly staff, so-so property.

Although this rental is not ON the beach it has an unobstructed view of the sound, and walking to the beach is easy....unless you carry a ton of stuff. House is nice, but dated. Appliances are old, and some do not work. Noticed several things in the garage that would have made our short stay better, but it turns out most of the stuff, (bikes, water toys, umbrellas) were broken or out of order. Sadly the garage door didn't work and this made parking difficult since no street parking is allowed. Still, the house was nice enough, and we did enjoy our stay here...not really worth what we paid though.

With-in walking distance of fishing pier and restaurants. The Navarre marine park is just east of the causeway and offer many programs for kids K-12 Captains Lookout located just west if the Navarre Causeway on Gulf Blvd. The Developed area of Navarre Beach goes 1 mile to the east of the Causeway and 3 miles to the west. On the vary east 1 Mile of the island is the site of the Navarre Pass that was dug in early 60s and closed by Hurricane Betsy in 1965. On the west end of Navarre Beach is the Gulf Island National Seashore which extends from Navarre Beach to Pensacola Beach to the west end of the barrier island. Ft. Pickens is located on the west end of Santa Rosa Island and offers a great Day trip to see the Ramparts and canons that protected Pensacola Bay and Pensacola during the Civil War Era. The drive along the pristine beach through the National Sea Shore is breathtaking and there are several Beach and sound parking areas and access to stop and enjoy the natural beauty of the barrier island.
