Why The Owner chose French Quarter

This is just one unit of the five home tract known as the Lanata Row Houses, which spans nearly the entire block between Gov. Nicholls and Barracks Street. The nearly identical homes were all designed by the man that made St. Louis Cathedral. Built in 1847, the homes stand where the French originally had their army barracks and military hospital. Dominique Lanata acquired the land in 1845. The Lanata Row Houses have stood for over 150 years. The Richelieu Hotel is on the far corner while the others were converted into the Lanata House Apartments.

Perfect stay in the French Quarter

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this wonderful property over New Years. Everything was just as described and the location was absolutely perfect. We enjoy the Marigny and Frenchmen St area, which is only 2 blocks away. And even though it's in the heart of the French Quarter, it's in a very quiet, upscale residential area. So even though you are a 5 min walk from the crowds of Bourbon St, you can enjoy peace and quite when you finally turn in at night. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was super easy to work with and thought of every amenity and extra we might need. The ambiance of the condo really made you feel like you were in New Orleans with a nice balcony and walk through floor-to-ceiling windows. I will definitely return to this property over and over for my future visits to NOLA.

Good Stay!

  • 5 of 5

I am a fellow vacation rental host with properties in Washington, DC and Long Beach, NY.

So, coming from that viewpoint, I can tell you that Ashley’s place Is lovely! It’s on the quiet edge of the French Quarter, meaning, the Quarter is at your fingertips, yet the property provides a quiet refuge at the end of the day. And you’ll want to spend some time there too: the interior is aesthetically pleasing, and front porch provides a wonderful indoor-outdoor living experience.

That said, the absolute BEST thing about this home is that it comes with a responsive host. And in the vacation rental world, that is everything. Because no matter how great a property is located, or how artistic the interior, when problems arise – and they usually do - without a savvy host, you have nothing.

If Ashley’s mother lets me, I am going to adopt her.

Perfect Mardi Gras!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the house during Mardi Gras this year and it couldn't of been better. The house was so perfect and amazing. Furnished with everything you need and with the perfect location. It's right on the outside of all the Mardi Gras chaos but within perfect walking distance. The balcony was definitely a huge selling point for our trip. Ashley, the manager was very friendly, accommodating, and gave us such great hospitality. Thank you Ashley! The house is adorable and cozy and gave us such an authentic New Orleans feel. Considering this was our first time ever in New Orleans, I couldn't of asked for a better trip. Can't wait to come back again!!

Charming, perfect location

  • 5 of 5

This is a fabulous condo in the perfect location. Comfy bed, quiet location, air-conditioning, this is a sanctuary from the hustle in the French Quarter while being a short walking distance to everything central. Clean & tastefully decorated. The on-site manager was friendly & accommodating. Over all, GREAT stay! We will stay here again and recommend this property to friends & family.

Outstanding home in a perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

What a cool place to say! It's cozy, clean, comfortable, and the decor is very hip. This place screams "New Orleans French Quarter"!

I was looking for a spot for us to enjoy our anniversary in New Orleans. I showed her the pictures of this spot and she said book it right away!

We wanted a comfortable place to stay in the middle of the French Quarter so we could walk to everything. I'm not sure if we could have picked a better location. The street is nice and quiet, so while "the party" is just a block or so in any direction, it isn't keeping you up all night.

We enjoyed our evenings and mornings on the porch with a drink or cup of coffee. We walked to some of the best dining available in the quarter.

The owner's manager was wonderful. She met us on arrival, got us quickly settled, gave us some advice about the local area and left us to enjoy our anniversary weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to our friends and family.

My wife was running in the Rock and Roll Marathon this year so i wanted to book a fun filled place for us to stay that would be quiet but still fun. WE LOVED THIS CONDO. It is decorated so perfect. When you come in there are two of the most beautiful chandeliers with this incredibly huge mirror and two giant windows that lead you right out to a grand balcony where you can watch the world walk by below. The bedroom is a loft style so you can look right down on to the living room and kitchen. This is perfect for a couple but not for any one else. The kitchen is fully upgraded and everything in the condo was just really nice. Perfectly decorated and centrally located for everything that we wanted to do. All in all this was a great condo and we really want to come back especially when it gets cold in Boston! Thank you so much!!
