Cherokee Lake was a lake i enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping on since my childhood. A lake front home is an awesome. It is much like a mountain chalet or a condo on the beach.
Simply put a home away from home for all that chose to enjoy this home, the blue barn. The Barn is very relaxing and is great place to escape, enjoy play on the water, fishing, nature walks, or a book while sitting on the lower porch. It is located near Carson Newman College and if you need any kind of entertainment or shopping Pigeon Forge is within one-hour drive
Enjoyed our stay at The Barn with the family. Perfect getaway for us. Beautiful view of the lake. Nice yard, decks, dock and beach....we swam, fished, kayaked, and rented a pontoon boat at the marina. Beautiful park nearby for picnic and more swimming. Pretty lake with islands in front of your dock. Plenty of birdwatching, turtles, butterflies....great spot. Cozy house, clean and accommodating. Awesome views from family room and loft.
Spent 3 days at lake ... even a Brooklyn boy was able to relax. House was clean and fully equipped.
The 4th Annual fishing trip and again the Barn was great! Lots of upgrades by the owners and more to come i'm sure. Great views, plenty of room and a great location, just down the road from Pigeon Forge and shopping for the ladies and fishing for the men right out your back deck. Yes we WILL be back . Thanks to the owners, they really care about your experience.
We really enjoyed ourself at the Barn. We will definitely be coming back for another visit.
The barn was perfect for a girl's weekend at the lake! We really enjoyed our stay. The views from the deck are amazing. We even saw a bald eagle. The owners were receptive to any questions or concerns we had prior to making our reservation. It is convenient to stores if you need anything. We are already planning our trip for next year.
This is not a four bedroom house since one bed is in an open loft. The house was not clean and the DVD player did not work. We weren't allowed in the lower level with the screened in porch area so that shouldn't be advertised as being a part of the experience. The kitchen was odd with a refrig that was way too large for the space making it hard to move around in there. The light switches are odd. There is no way 12 people can sleep in this house as one web site said. It is too small to lay out air mattresses. We scrambled to sleep folk for a large family reunion. There are good views from the windows and we enjoyed the deck. It was very nice to have toilet paper and trash bags in place and not have to run out to buy this right away. The towels were nice quality also. This place was way overpriced for the house.
Carson Newman College, Walter State Community College, Universtiy of Tennessee, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Great SMokey Mountain National Park, Cades Cove, and Women's Basketball Hall of Fame are all within a short drive
