As semi-retired professional, born and raised in Montreal, Canada, who recently became a snowbird, I like keeping busy, presently own and manage a B & B in downtown Montreal, Quebec (Repos & Manna B&B) from May to November, and doing my new gig in Phoenix from December to April, hoping to meet great folks and tell good stories about everything and nothing. We're celebrating our 6th complete year in operation at the B&B and have invited the world to participate in our Facebook event throughout 2013. I'm an active person, enjoy participating and playing many sports, particularly tennis, where I look forward to various local tournaments. This keeps my mind focused and my body in shape. Well located, clean, practical, very affordable, especially for our 1st year. Our rates are very reasonable.An excellent home-base for your Phoenix vacation and stay, near all major highways with easy access to all interesting areas and places to visit and enjoy. We are in a residental area, therefore you'll feel like home, and do make yourself at home!
Location, Residental area, quiet and relaxing, well maintained property. All ammenities and comfort, just like home or better!
Property is advertised as 'No Frills', which is right on the money. It was adequate for our needs though as we only needed a clean place to shower, sleep and cook breakfast. The sunny patio for enjoying morning coffee was the best part of the property. The property is close to freeways and shopping. The owner/manager was accessible by phone and checked in periodically.
I really enjoyed this location. It was central to the Phoenix area and allowed us to get anywhere in the city in just a few minutes. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having our own well-maintained "home" away from home. We didn't have a TV or WiFi and those were the key missing elements. However, we didn't really have time to watch television with our busy spring training schedule. Tony was great and always helpful during our stay. There were plenty of restaurants close to the property. Overall, this was a great place for us to stay for a great week of baseball in Phoenix.
Property is for sale so amenities are slim but exactly as stated. Clean. Nice back yard, patio. Easy to get to. Tony was very gracious and helpful. Would deserve a 4-star if fully furnished.
Three brothers spent the first week of March 2014 on a golf trip, and this 3 bedroom was just what we needed. Clean, close to all the golf courses in and around Scottsdale in a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood. The covered patio was great for lounging and watching the hummingbirds. Lots of courses and restaurants within 20 minutes - all you would ever need is right here in one very nice home. Reasonably priced to! At the top of my list for our next golfing trip.
was very happy this home is clean and has all you would ever need.it was close to all the things we went to see .the owner met us at the home which i thought was very nice, showed us around i had a little trouble getting on the internet and he came over to help .i wouldnt think twice about renting this home again.he even put out fliers of things to see and do.all that was missing was a pool.
My husband, one-year old daughter, mother, and brother made plans to go and stay at this property for two nights. I spoke to Tony on the phone prior to booking and he was very friendly and helpful, explaining to me that he wanted to help us maximize our time in Phoenix, since it was going to be a short visit. He was going to meet us at the house and make sure that we had everything, including helpful information about the area, that we needed for our trip. Before confirming the trip, I asked him what his cancellation policy was, and he said that as long as we give him 48 hours notice that we would only forfeit the cost of one night.
About 48 hours before our scheduled trip, my daughter got a horrendous case of the chicken pox and so we unfortunately had to cancel our trip. Even though it was a very busy weekend in Phoenix with a Nascar race and spring training and Tony easily could have booked the house to someone else if he had had more notice, he refunded all of our money. It was a very kind and compassionate thing that he did and I look forward to getting to Phoenix one of these days and staying at one of his properties.
While I can't review the house itself, I am confidant that you will be treated very well by Tony!
