Renting this condo will provide a family of six or less the opportunity to enjoy the many advantages the near by beaches provide. You will be provided with a parking pass where you can relax at the PRIVATE Fire district Beaches, enjoying walking on the beach,surfing, fishing, boogie boarding and swimming. The condo has 2 separate bedrooms, Both BR have a queen size bed. I the living room there is a pullout FULL sofa. Linens, towels, and the use of washer and dryer will be included in the rental fee ( see rates ). The condo has a fully equipped kitchen and an outside gas grill. An outside shower is available for all guests. The condo has 3 built in wall ac/ heating unit for comfort. There are 2 parking spaces allotted for the unit.
This condo is now under new ownership, and will feature many new upgrades and amenities for the 2015 season. The kitchen will be outfitted with new appliances, granite counter-tops, cookware and utensils. High speed internet and expanded cable on new flat screen hi def TV's will be complementary. There will be a central vacuum installed for your convenience and comfort. There will be new flooring and new bathroom fixtures as well. Stay posted for pictures of our progress, which will be completed by early June 2015
Everything in this rental was as advertised. Although the rental includes bath towels, bed linens (new), dishwasher, washer & dryer; I chose not to use them...Old habits die hard! There are ample towels, etc., but you will need beach towels.
The beds are comfy, appliances are as shown and there's a TV in the living area and one bedroom. The owner's taste in décor is clean, uncluttered and tasteful. She takes great care in the cleanliness and up-keep of everything.
It's about 1/2 mile to a nice, private, well-run beach with clean BR's and outdoor shower.
I would definitely recommend staying here except for the last week in June; because that's my week!
I almost don't want to post this to give away a potential secret but feel I owe it to the owners as they have a great place and reasonable price. We have rented houses in the area and this was by far much better experience. We arrived Saturday July 4th and stayed the week. The place was clean, fully refurbished with all necessary amenities and modern appliances (sign up for washer/dryer worth the extra $$$)
We have a 4 year old and the place was comfortable for all three of us plus grandma and grandpa stopped by for an overnight as well. Plus having A/C after long day at the beach was KEY, most of the house rentals do not offer.
Highly Recommend, will be looking to book again in 2016.
This condo is located in the heart of Misquamicut RI, which is part of the Town of Westerly. Misquamicut is located in the southern most portion of Rhode Island bordering Pawcatuck and Stonington CT. The beautiful beaches in Misquamicut are just a 5 minute walk away. You can shop, rent jet skis and paddle boats. The Small amusement park and waterslide are a few minutes drive from the condo. The Foxwood and Mohegan Sun casinos are a short drive away. Boating ,swimming, restaurants ,golf and many other recreational activities are minutes away. Misquamicut has been a family destination for residents from CT,NY and MA for many years. The private fire district beaches are available to renters of this condo and are in walking distance. A car pass will be issued for the private beach. The beautiful downtown Westerly provides antique shopping as well as numerous restaurants. This area is truly special vacation destinations for people from various parts of the country.
