First Floor at Waters Edge, spacious one bedroom with two full baths
If you enjoy the amenities of a modern condominium complex, but don't want to feel "high in the sky", here's the choice for you. This spacious Waters Edge one bedroom is on the first floor. The balcony gives you a great view, without being so high that you lose that beach vacation feeling. This one bedroom condo has the same size kitchen and living area as two and three bedroom units, along with two full bathrooms. With three queen size beds, this condo can accommodate a family vacation at one bedroom prices. Every vacation day begins and ends with the beauty of blue sky and golden sand and the soothing sound of ocean waves that you will enjoy from comfortable furnishings.
Waters Edge is a premium condo resort. There are large indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, exercise facilities, a lounge, restaurant and convenience store, all on the premises. The elevator from the lobby provides excellent handicapped access. The solid concrete construction means you won't hear neighbors or anyone walking on the ceiling. When you're ready to feel the soft warm sand between your toes, the soft, wide Garden City beach is right out from the lobby.
The bedroom has a queen size bed, closet and dresser to provide ample storage space, and a private bathroom. Both sofas convert to queen size beds. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, toaster, small appliances, pots and pans. Dishes, glassware and tableware are on hand. Linens are provided, beds will be made, some soap, paper towels and trash bags will be on hand. You will not begin your vacation by making beds or running to the store to get toilet paper!
Garden City is perfect for a family vacation or romantic getaway, away from the traffic and crowds, but still a short drive to attractions and over 100 golf courses. The Garden City Beach pier, restaurants and shops are .7 of a mile south from Waters Edge. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants, bars and shopping are a short drive (or a pleasant, longer walk) north. Just a few minutes south is the Murrell's Inlet Restaurant Row, "the Seafood Capital of South Carolina". Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. All the attractions, dining and shopping of Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand, and the Myrtle Beach downtown boardwalk are just a bit further north. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden. It's just a few minutes south.
This is the place to make beach vacation memories for just the two (or three or four) of you, is it not?
The person renting this property must be at least 25 years old, have a valid credit card, and be present for the entire rental.
Parking is limited at all oceanfront properties. We can only provide the number of parking tags allowed by the Home Owners Association and property manager. With this unit, we can only provide ONE parking tag. None of these properties provide more than TWO parking tags. Additional parking tags are available at the discretion of the building management between Nov. 15 - Mar. 15.
The condo was very nice and well maintained. Beautiful beach themed. Everything we needed! The pool and beach area was gorgeous. My family will definitely stay again and will recommend it to anyone.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and cozy. We did have some items stolen from the indoor pool area however. I told the front front desk. They couldn't have cared less. Other than that, it was nice.
Had a great time and the unit was well maintained and cleaned well.
I did arrive early for check in around 2:30pm but keys and everything was ready which was much appreciated. But I was simply handed a envelope and told, parking pass and pool bracelets where included with keys. I had no instructions as to if I should run the dishwasher before I leave or if I had to leave all the dishes clean and out of the dishwasher, should I start a load of the towels or sheets? No intro letter from the management company just to say welcome and here is where you call for maintenance or if you have any issues. The lady who checked me in also at no time said enjoy your trip or do you have any questions. The same when I checked out, no did you have a great time or anything to report maintenance wise in the unit. Just the little touches were missed to put the customer service level above the rest. I work in property management so that may be why I noticed and was rather shocked no letter from the Management company was included or instructions on what to do at checkout. Plus if a leak occurred or incident which could damage the unit I would want to ensure it was reported immediately to the PM. The building did have the front desk area but since they are condos I am unsure as to how much they would help with a unit element problem.
The condo is beautiful and very clean. The view is spectacular and so close to the water you can hear the waves crashing inside the condo with the doors shut. If you are serious about cooking in I would strongly suggest you bring your favorite knives but other than that we found the kitchen to be well equipped. Even though most of the week we were there it was cold and cloudy we were quite comfortable in the condo and had a wonderful vacation.
This condo has an amazing view and sits RIGHT on the white sand beach. It overlooks the pool , palm trees and crashing waves. The condo building itself is very humble with concrete walls and outdated furnishings, but still comfortable. The surprisingly large kitchen had cabinets and appliances that were newer and it was stocked well with everything needed for cooking. The complex has a small bar/grill/gift shop on premise. Overall, considering the low rental price, I would say that unit 109 is a VERY GOOD VALUE. So if it is value you are seeking, this is the ONE.
Our stay at Waters Edge #109 was very enjoyable and we will more than likely return.
From the moment we got there it was GREAT!!!. The condo was nice, clean and had everything we could need, the property was well maintained , nice pool. The little bar&grill downstairs had some great food which was nice for the days or nights when we didn't feel like leaving for dinner or cooking.I guess the only thing I could say is our door lock got stuck but the property management had someone there within an hour to take care of it. Kids loved it, we loved it and we will be going back.

Perfect for either families or couples, our Myrtle Beach home rentals offer luxurious and convenient amenities; beautiful décor; access to pristine beaches; and magical views of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean!
The Grand Strand is a large stretch of beautiful beaches where many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals are located. Once a hiding place popular among notorious pirates, today among America’s most popular vacation destinations, Myrtle Beach’s Grand Strand offers a wide variety of recreation and entertainment activities. Start with miles and miles of golden soft sand on a shore that slopes gently into the Atlantic. The Grand Strand was voted #1 in the USA (#6 in the world) in a recent poll of frequent travelers.
The communities just south of our Grand Strand Myrtle Beach home rentals, Surfside Beach and Garden City, are our most “family friendly” areas and offer scores of reasonably priced ocean front Myrtle Beach condo rentals for family enjoyment of the warm sunshine, sand, and the vast Atlantic. Many of these condos are large enough to accommodate several families, a perfect reunion setting.
Golf is the “national” pastime of The Grand Strand. Some say you can play a different course every day of the year. That’s probably an exaggeration, but certainly you can play 36 holes a day for a week, (or a month) without seeing the same course twice. There are well over 100 golf courses to choose from near many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals. Fishing is the lesser-known area sport. Inland waterways and shallow coastline areas offer anglers lots of action, with guides available to show the way.
A perfect family vacation area, there are dozens of attractions and amusement parks close to many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals for kids of all ages. The new SkyWheel, a 200 foot high Ferris wheel, is an amazing attraction and is said to be among the largest in the world. Also not far from many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals are zoos, an aquarium (with a dozen species of sharks!), science and curiosity exhibits and museums for family entertainment. Surfside Beach and Garden City both offer amusement parks the kids and parents alike will love.
For a combination of art, culture and nature many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals are right near Brookgreen Gardens. This 9,000 acre park exhibits one of the largest collections of sculpture by American artists in the world. The manicured lawns with walkways and pools beautifully enhance these spectacular works of art.
Restaurants are everywhere, with options for every taste and budget. Just about every cuisine in the world seems to be represented all only a short ways from many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals. Seafood is, of course, the staple, there are a large selection of places to get all you want. Murrell’s Inlet says it’s the Seafood Capital of South Carolina, and boasts a long row of highly regarded seafood restaurants to prove it.
Nightlife? If you’re not worn out yet, choose from live popular music, professionally produced stage shows, and “tribute” acts that pay homage to the legends of popular music, playing “oldies” that are sure to bring back memories.
