We had a great time staying here. Loved being able to sit outside and relax after enjoying the town all day. Would definitely stay here again.

Very Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

This accommodated us all comfortably. The outside patio was great to relax in the afternoon and have some "adult" beverages. Will definitely rent again!

A little further from shops than expected

  • 3 of 5

Overall this is a cute house and Debbie is great. It is very tastefully decorated with plenty of dishes, etc. It was a little further from the main shops and restaurants than we anticipated. I am probably a bit smell sensative, but it is an older home with a musty smell to it.

Perfect place for a relaxing girls weekend!

  • 5 of 5

The property was perfect for 5 ladies looking for a relaxing but fun road trip. The house was very clean and had everything you could need for a getaway. Plenty of towels for everyone and the beds were very nice & comfy. The kitchen area is very open and nice for playing games and snacking. The weather was perfect for evenings on the adorable patio. We enjoyed sitting outside listening to music and drinking wine. If I could recommend anything it would be to add some string lights over the patio area to enhance the beauty of the surroundings. Otherwise a perfect stay! We even got to meet Debbie upon our departure and she was very nice and even took some pictures of our group for us. We will be back to this one!

The climate is optimal for grapes and peaches. There are many local wineries giving tours and samples. There are numerous antique shops, and restaurants on Main St. Fredericksburg has the newly dedicated Museum of the Pacific, and the Pioneer Museum. For the adventuresome, there is the newest TX State Park, Enchanted Rock. A huge, pink granite dome, rises 425 feet above ground, 1,825 feet above sea level, and is one of the largest batholiths in the United States. There is a flat trail at its base, as well as the possibility of climbing the rock to the summit. Birdwatching is exceptional as the TX Hill Country is on the migratory path.
