Fall with its golden afternoon sunshine and Spring brimming with flowers and other blooms. Summer offers long days, endless time in the pool, early morning and late evening walks, dining outside (under covered patios) and much more!
You'll never run out of ways to spend your time -- in the spa or swimming; golfing; hiking; enjoying a basketball, baseball, hockey, or football game; visiting our beautiful mountain areas (just a short drive away); or rafting down the Salt River.
The house itself (3000 sq feet/2 stories) is beautifully furnished. As our pictures suggest, you will not be disappointed with the lovely backyard that adjoins a mountain preserve and the two upstairs balconies with breathtaking views.
Jump in the newly resurfaced pool or just lounge in the sun in or around the spa. Inside, relax in front of one of two fireplaces (one in the family room, the other in the master suite), or have a dining adventure in the spacious formal dining room. You'll LUV cooking in our updated kitchen, with eye-catching granite on all counters and the expansive island.
We have HD (and web-connected) TVs and DVD players throughout the house; there's entertainment for everyone. And, of course, you can easily connect to the Internet (via direct Ethernet or wirelessly) if work or web-surfing is your thing.
Other high points include kitchen appliances (dishwasher and double-oven); attractive blinds in the great room, upstairs office, and master suite; hardwood flooring (bamboo--in the master suite and cedar-lined master closet, upper hallway, and stairs to the lower level); decking on the master suite balcony, and a rod-iron railing separating the relaxing patio area from the pool. [Safety for young children is definitely our priority!]
We upgrade every year. Apart from the recent pool resurfacing, our home features updated flooring in the kitchen, family room, and elsewhere on the lower level..

For the outdoor enthusiast, there are biking, jogging, and walking trails just minutes from your doorstep. [Ahwatukee abuts South Mountain, one of the largest hiking parks in the country.] The community also boasts some of the finest swimming and tennis facilities in the Phoenix area.
And, of course, there’s gaming at any one of several nearby Indian casinos.

We purchased our home as an investment after selling rental property in San Diego that we had owned for many years. We were quite familiar with the area --- having lived in a different house (about 3 miles away) between 1992-97, while Mrs. Michel was earning her doctorate at Arizona State University.
Our home has a perfect floor-plan; it's very comfortable with many amenities. We especially enjoy the kitchen and family room areas; they're bright and cheerful, and face the yard which itself backs to the preserve.
Our stay was perfect ,the house was great and spacious. The pool is very refreshing and fun. Made some great memories !

My wife and I rented this home....when we arrived we were greeted by Bill. He took us through the house and showed us everything. The house is beautiful...it is located in a quiet and safe area. Bill and Marcie are very easy to work with and gave us a couple of calls to make sure everything was good and answer any questions we had. We spent most of our time on the patio by the pool. The furnishings in the house are exceptional for a rental home...leather couches...great TV's...very nice beds. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home...we hope to return again in the next year or two

My wife and I booked this home for a Thanksgiving visit to friends and family in the Phoenix area. We had another couple and my brother stay with us part of the time. This house is a fantastic place to stay, with high end luxury everywhere. The owners have spared no expense in having everything you might need and then some. We enjoyed the beautiful yard, patio and spa as well as the upstairs deck and of course the roomy, comfortable interior. Location is just about perfect, with all shopping, entertainment and dining very close by, and a short trip gets you to the airport and downtown.
Owners were great to work with and Bill even met us to show us around the house and how to use all of the many amenities. Close to Tempe and the stadium if you are coming out for sports and I-10 just minutes away. We would most definitely stay again.
For just the two of us the house was a little big we barely used half of it but it was a lovely home tastefully decorated and meticulously kept up. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything you need or want. The homeowners are very nice people and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Bill and Marcie are wonderful to deal with - very gracious hosts. They were very accommodating and quick to respond to emails. The house is fantastic - two offices, a den with fireplace, dining room, living room and a master bedroom which is massive, complete with fireplace. The kitchen, den and master bed overlook a lovely back yard and a foothill. The view was so nice that we didn't use the dining room table. Four bedrooms and three baths would make it appropriate for families. The entrance is also nice with a fountain and benches.
The kitchen is very well equipped and I liked the fact there were two ovens. Anyone who likes to cook would find it had everything you could want. It was immaculately kept, as was the whole house and property.The location is good. It is very quiet and is close to green spaces for walking, biking or running. There are three grocery stores in close proximity and the outlet malls were a close drive. We highly recommend this gorgeous property for a fun and comfortable stay.
