Lovely apartment on lower level of 1870's home. Renovated to highest standards. 4 car parking and only a few steps into your own private entrance. Large eat in kitchen, separate dining room and living room with bay window. The apartment is in a quiet older part of town. It is only a block from rail and buses. Enjoy walking to the downtown market on the weekends or shopping close by. The Bruce Trail is close by. For road riding or mountain biking, this is the perfect location. Horse back riding, arts, festivals.

My late wife (Iris) and I purchased this nice duplex back in 2001. The lower apartment was renovated in 2011 to make it into a vacation destination. Iris passed away in 2012 and I have dedicated the apartment to her, Iris's place. I opened the vacation home in Dec.2012. In 2014, I remarried, and since then, Mary Lynn and I have enjoyed meeting many guests from around the world. We both hope to see you soon.
The views from each window and the walkways, all overlook the award winning gardens. Our home has been on the garden tour also. Enjoy sitting on the Muskoka chairs while having an afternoon tea or your morning breakfast. There is a small backyard garden and patio for your own use. This is a very quiet neighborhood and is within walking distance to the train and the old part of town.

Our month at Iris's place was very nice. All your needs are taken care of by Allen and Mary Lynn. Apartment is well equipped with the necessities and beyond.
We stayed for eight weeks while our home was under renovation. It was a great choice for our family. Everything we could need was provided, the apartment is well laid-out and felt huge and bright. Two car parking and proximity to the GO train was a bonus for getting around. The hosts were friendly and respectful. Georgetown is a wonderful town.
This property was very safe and secure. It's on a quiet side street near the Go Train station - we were pleasantly surprised as there was no traffic noise - so very convenient. The landscaping was well done and the home had every convenience of home, except air conditioning. But as former Georgetown residents, we seem to recall heat and humidity is only problematic in August. Allen was very accommodating and helpful and greeted us upon our arrival. We highly recommend this property - with some mixed emotion as we definitely want to rebook it on our next trip and would like it to be available !
Allen and Mary Lynn were gracious and friendly hosts who welcomed us and ensured our comfort. We appreciated their attention to detail. Their apartment is conveniently located for travelling around the Toronto area and Georgetown itself has everything. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this first class accommodation. Thank you Allen and Mary Lynn.
Absolutely loved this property. Every amenity you could want in a rental was readily available. Allan was out in the garden when we arrived and came around to introduce himself. Unfortunately, we triggered the smoke alarm one evening and Allan and Mary Lynn were very gracious. (Sorry again!) Close to the GO station, although we did not utilize. We took a walk one evening and found downtown Georgetown. We walked there almost every night to have ice cream at a local shop. And also to watch everyone chase Pokemon :). It was a much needed break from every day life in a very comfortable location. We will likely book this again!
This apartment is spotlessly clean and comfortable, well decorated and set in a quiet neighbourhood but close to the main town areas. The owners live above and are very welcoming and willing to give advice about the area and things to do. It is quite a way out of Toronto centre but only about 10km from the start of the urban sprawl so not bad if you want to avoid being in the city.
A nice touch that I have not often encountered is the provision of tea, coffee, bottled water, washing detergent and dishwasher tablets, which saves bringing your own or having to buy far more than you need whilst travelling. The surrounding gardens (award winning) are lovingly tended. The small rear garden is a nice place to have breakfast but only gets the sun for a short time in the morning. A selection of DVD's and a Netflix account sorts out the evening entertainment.
As stated in the description it is near the GO train station so there is some train noise morning and evening but it is only a minor disturbance.
