About Laura Kittery

Hi Folks! Our names are Brian and Laura Kittery. We grew up in Wakefield, MA. We have known each other since childhood and are now in our 50's. We have been together for over 30 years now and since 1985 have owned and operated a tree removal and pruning service in Stoughton, MA. We like to vacation as much as possible and we also enjoy seeing other people at the beach, relaxing and enjoying themselves. We hope you will come and stay at 'Sea Perch' and have the type of vacation you deserve.

Laura Kittery purchased this cottage in 2012

Why Laura Kittery chose Cape Cod

We just happened to find Sutton Place cottages in the early '90's and have been vacationing here ever since. They were 'rustic' rental cottages for all of those years. We loved them because as Brian says, 'You roll out of bed and your feet are in the sand.' We often day-dreamed about how nice it would be to be able to buy just one little cottage . . . that opportunity became available to us in late 2011 and we managed to put the pieces together and buy our little dream-come-true beach cottage at Sutton Place. 'Rustic' no more - they are almost all new construction, but still retain the charm of 'olde Cape Cod'.

What makes this cottage unique

On the beach, DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH on Cape Cod Bay, with incredible views of the ocean and Provincetown, dunes and sky - and the proximity to just about any activity you might like to do when on vacation on Cape Cod. We purposely have tried to keep this cottage very comfortable and not 'so nice' that you worry about putting your feet up and truly relaxing. Judging from the reviews we have received from our renters to date, we are very happy to learn that they have been very comfortable in the cottage and felt that all of their needs were anticipated and met by the provisions we made for them - and also that they had lots of fun in the area and enjoyed great food and great sunsets - our goals have been achieved! :) :)

Simply amazing...

The property was a pleasant surprise...tgere was plenty of room for all 3 of us. And, since we are antique & vintage dealers in our retirement, the interior of the cottage was so perfect.

Best location and experience for our trips to Cape Cod yet!

  • 5 of 5

Prior to our arrival, the owner, Laura, was incredibly thoughtful and responsive to any questions we had. My girlfriend and I booked Unit #11 at Sutton Place in Truro because we thought the location would be ideal for our purpose: relaxing and venturing out into the outer Cape to take photographs. We had no idea just how great the location would be.

The cottage is small, but very clean and very cozy and complete with everything we required for our stay -- perfect for two people. Though there were other cottages very close by, all of the other vacationers were very respectful of their neighbor's privacy and of the association's rules regarding personal conduct. Steps away from Cape Cod Bay, we had a beautiful view across to Provincetown from right outside the cottage. The proximity of the location to the Cape Cod National Sea Shore lent itself to an extraordinary opportunity to photograph a part of the Cape which is as beautiful as it is iconic and capture some amazing shots. Late evenings (if we were not out capturing star and milky way shots over the beaches) were spent outside the front of the cottage listening to the sounds of the waves crash against the shore and reflecting on the wonder and the natural beauty of the outer Cape.

We are looking forward to booking our next summer get away to the Cape at Unit# 11, the "Sea Perch", Sutton Place, Truro. Thank you Laura!

Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

Our favorite place on earth! Everything you need in this quaint beach cottage! Right on the sand and 20' from the water. Enjoy sunsets on the wrap around deck, grill fresh caught fish on the grill, have a cocktail and take the little shuttle bus into P-Town. The Kittery's have a really special place.
