Greetings! I grew up on Pass-a-Grille but I now live in downtown St. Petersburg where my daughter goes to school. I work full-time daily and have these rentals as my side passion. I compete in triathlons (swimming, running and bicycling) and have completed 5 Ironman races. We try to live simply by enjoying all the wonderful activities in our area such as the Dali museum, Ft De Soto- rated 1 beach in the world, bicycling on our 80 mile bike path, and windsurfing. Our next adventure is to learn to Stand-up-Paddle a popular activity in our area. I lived for awhile in NYC, CT (Fairfield county) and NY (Westchester County) during graduate school and for ten years I lived in the Northeast until I returned home to FL. I hope you enjoy your stay!
Lisa M Charest purchased this townhome in 1970
I love this beach, & I love this house. I personally redid most of the place myself. We lived there for a while as it is such a wonderful area, however daily demands called me away from the beach so I chose to make life easier and move closer to my daughters school. The beach house is within driving distance to my home, its easy to get to from the airport and an easy day trip to adventures in downtown St Pete, Tampa or Orlando. The best part of this beach house though is the peace that it brings to those who live there, the shelling, walking on the beach or just listening to nature. I look forward to moving back in a few years but for now I invite you to live in this beautiful setting and enjoy the comfort of Pass A Grille Beach.
Even if you only stay for a week you will leave with sunsets on your mind and the horizon and open air in you heart. Enjoy!
Nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and the Tampa Bay, Pass-a -Grille Beach is a gem with water and white sand beach everywhere in an underdeveloped little island. There are ten restaurants that are enticing, yummy and only a few blocks away. Cute shops and boutiques run along 8th Ave, the smallest downtown in the US which is perfect for strolling. Pass a Grille Beach is mostly a residential beach- It is perfect for a life made for walking, relaxing, cycling or swimming. The beach house is only a few steps from our beach trolley stop and the trolley can take you to wherever you want to go.. or you can just stay, enjoy the water, the sea grapes and the local restaurants as they entice all who come to this area. Above all enjoy the sunset that has made Pass a Grille/St Pete Beach the 'sunset capital of FL the water is all around to reflect the suns rays and shine with warmth on each glorious day.
Again, our stay at this property was wonderful! We love the area here----so many restaurants and of course you are less than a block from the intercoastal for the sunrise and the Gulf for the sunset! The pictures we take are amazing, but honestly it's easy to take in this beautiful area. We really enjoy the bicycles that Lisa provides. Riding around PAG is great and we love seeing the gorgeous homes and the beach! The Wharf has great grouper, the Sea Horse wonderful breakfast, Shaner's grocery store will grill you a grouper sandwich and 8th Street has awesome shopping! Our little rental is perfect for 2 people. Lisa is a wonderful host and any questions you may have, she is just an email or text away! Love having the laundry facilities here also! Lisa provides everything you need to get started - coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Don't bother bringing your beach towels and chairs...they are provided also! We would definitely recommend this rental and believe me, we will be back!!
I contacted Lisa about renting this place for my sister as a gift to her. Lisa was so timely on her responses and so accommodating. The booking process was so easy and she communicated everything, anticipating questions before I even thought of them! My sister stayed a week here, said it was the best time she's ever had and said she wants to stay with Lisa at this spot every summer! My sister and I are planning to visit again next year and stay with Lisa. I would highly recommend her and her properties!
Everything was just as described. Convenient location everything you need is in walking distance. I would definitely go again.
My partner and I had a fantastic time at this cozy home. Very clean and organized place. The bed was very comfortable. Very relaxing stay. Short walk to the beach with amazing restaurants in the area. I will definitely be booking my next stay here!
The rental was very charming. The location was perfect and Lisa was very accommodating.
The Cottage is just perfect for two people. It is small but very comfortable and nicely decorated. I loved to sit on the patio and drink my morning coffe or to share a glass of wine with my husband.
The beach and many restaurants are just a short walk away. Try the Sea Critters and Gennaro's for a Pizza!
We had a small problem with the parking pass but Lisa got us a new one within the next day.
We hope to be back for another week soon. Thank you Lisa!
