I got to spend a month at Surfside and it was perfect in every way! The property was well supplied and clean, not to mention comfortable.
The location was perfect to visit the beach, restaurants, cook at home and enjoy Pensacola.
I would absolutely rent again in the very same spot!
I'm just getting around to writing a review from my stay last fall, but we absolutely loved this property. It was well maintained, great location, and perfect for our family get away. The kids loved having the option of playing in the calmer waters of the sound or walking the short walk across the street to the gulf. We will definitely rent again for our next stay out on Pensacola beach.
My father is a disabled veteran, and my mother had knee replacement surgery last year. We stayed on the fourth floor of Baywatch. We were shocked when we arrived that there was no elevator! It really should have been disclosed that there was no elevator- common sense would assume there would be one. It was very difficult for my parents to go up and down the stairs and as a result my dads leg got infected by toxin build up when he "over does it." My mom has been having trouble with knee inflammation so safe to say... We will never stay at bay watch again.
The condo was nice, pool was closed for reconstruction. Every day they began construction on the building I was in at 7:00 am. No elevator. Access to the beach is down the road not across the street. I will not return to baywatch. While the area is nice, baywatch was not ready for a family.
We had a wonderful time in the condo. It really was a pirate themed condo ;)
It was very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The beach is across the street.
Steve is accessible with answers to questions. He even brought over homemade cookies.
I would recommend this condo to everyone. We did get alot of exercise going up to the 3rd floor.
We enjoyed Shaggy's and the Peg Leg restaurants.
The condo, the view and the close proximity to the beach and restaurants were amazing!! We had a great time! I will definitely be staying here again! Steve was the best, nice looking and personable! He brought us cookies and a "Thank you" note...it that not awesome!!
