Yarmouth House Rental Photos and Description

5 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 10

Immaculate house in South Yarmouth with the direct access to the SeaView Beach- the warmest Ocean waters on the Cape, minutes from restaurants, shopping and attractions, Central A/C, free Internet!

Fully renovated, large, sunlit, well equipped home is ready for your arrival - the house is full of amenities and is suitable for either families or couples vacationing together. Open the windows and enjoy the ocean breeze! Our vacation home features a rare combination of bedrooms - there is one bedroom with queen size bed, one bedroom with two twin beds and one bedroom with full size sleeper on the first floor, and one bedroom with king size bed and one bedroom with 3 twin beds on the second floor, accommodating up to 10 people comfortably. The expansive fireplaced living room, the formal dining room and two bedrooms offer spectacular ocean views. The brand new kitchen is open to the dining room and living area and equipped with a refrigerator, microwave with the convention oven, dishwasher, oven, and cook top.

Crisp fresh bed linens (high thread 100% cotton), fluffy bath and beach towels, beach umbrellas, and all cookware/glassware/dinnerware – all included for your convenience.

Our House is directly facing the beautiful Nantucket Sound SeaView Beach, which is a part of the uninterruptable chain on the beaches over 3 miles long. You will enjoy a wide stretch of clean sand and dunes, lovely warm waters, many activities (including fishing off the pier) there. There are lifeguards, restrooms, showers, snack bars, kid’s playgrounds on these beaches to facilitate family outings. The Skipper restaurant, well-known for its awards winning chowder and lobster and delicious ice cream, is within 5 minutes of the leisurely walk of the house. Just a quick 5 minute drive to Route 28 will take you to numerous restaurants and bars (including the famous Captain Parker’s), supermarkets and a variety of shops. There are 2 miniature golf courses, arcade & bowling place, Ryan Family Amusement Center, ZooQuarium, two golf courses (Blue Rock and Bass River) etc within short distance of our home.

The house is centrally located, so you can explore the Cape in each direction, with every town boasting artist's studios, museums, galleries and craft shops. A favorite among area sight-seeing stops is the Cape Cod National Seashore--a stretch of preserved natural beach where picnicking and guided tours are offered. Departing from Hyannis is a scenic tour aboard the Cape Cod Railroad. The two-hour tour passes cranberry bogs, salt marshes, the seacoast, and Cape Cod Bay and Canal. You will enjoy a tour of Cape lighthouses. There are eight working lighthouses on the Cape, mile-for-mile one of the largest concentrations of working lighthouses in the world. Catch a Duck tour, a perennial favorite with adults and kids! Between April and October, BE SURE to go on a whale-watching cruise.

We supply our guests with such amenities as high quality bed linen, bath towels, paper products, soap, shampoo, shower gel, laundry supplies, beach towels, beach umbrellas and chairs, all at no extra charge. The kitchen is fully stocked. We provide tea, coffee, coffee maker, toaster, blender, cooking utensils (including pots, pans, bowls etc), glassware, dinnerware, grill, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, patio furnishings, grill and propane for the grill etc.

Our quests from Boston wrote in our in-house Quest book:

'Perfect House for summer and winter vacations!

We spent one week at the end of August and one week in December in this beautiful house with the unbeatable location on the Nantucket Sound Sea View Beach. We love this House! It MORE than met our expectations. In reality the house is better than in the listing... Beds, beddings, linen, bath/beach towels- new and very good quality. The kitchen is brand new, very well equipped, granite counter top, microwave with conventional stove - pleasure to cook! The house is VERY comfortable, spotlessly clean and location is just fantastic – less than one minute, and you are on the beach! The house is also close to very good restaurants end entertainment. We can highly recommend Skipper (just 5 min walk of the house), the Yarmouth House, Captain Parker's pub.

If you like to run swimming after waking up (even before breakfast) in the blue, warm water, stroll along the shore, collect beautiful shells and enjoy morning sun - this house is for you! You don't need a car, you don't need to carry umbrellas, beach chairs (which are provided by owner) etc. to the beach if you don't plan to spend there several hours. You can be back to YOUR house any minute...

The house is conveniently located, very good start point for the daily trips. We went to Nantucket, Provincetown, the Cape Cod National Seashore, Whale-watching cruise, Pirate's Cove mini-golf, Zooquarium...

Our stay in December was also very enjoyable. We went to the beach - sunny days, mild weather, birds, schells, beatiful sunsets... Our favorite restaurants were open and offered delicious meals. The fireplace, games, books, talks, cooking, shopping, antiquing (famous glass)- we were busy every day! But we found the time to listen the MET opera at the historical Cape Cinema known for the largest in the U.S. and one of only five murals Kent did in his lifetime. Also, we didn't miss the magical journey on the Polar Express!

Alex and Val, you are very lucky to have a nice home like yours, and many thanks for share it!

We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this BEACH House to anyone - you will have a fantastic time!'

Ideal Multi-Family Beach House

  • 5 of 5

I just stayed at this home with my elderly parents, my sister and her family (2 kids), and my family (1 kid). It was a perfect stay--the kids had a slumber party in one room, and each adult slept comfortably and with plenty of space and privacy. The living area is ideal for family conversations and room for the kids to play. We had a casual breakfast at the house, packed sandwiches to eat at the beach/playground, and then went out to dinner. (2x at Capt Parker's...the Chowder is amazing), and once at Skipper's.

The beach really is right across the street, and is lined with benches which again was perfect for my elderly parents who could sit and watch the grandkids play. Do be sure to buy or bring a kite to fly, that filled an entire afternoon, along with collecting seashells.

I'm a bit new to renting via VRBO, but Alex is responsive to emails and is the ideal host. I felt as if I were staying at the home of a family friend. I hope to stay here again in the near future.

Beautiful, well--located, homely property

  • 4 of 5

The house is just over the road from a beautiful beach and just a couple of minutes from a small playpark for children. Absolutely ideal for us. The children spent many hours collecting shells from the beach and then decorating them. Also many hours playing in the playpark. The rooms are beautifully placed and decorated. I really appreciated the bedroom which I had which gave me privacy whilst allowing my son and his family to have ideal accommodation downstairs. Alex was so very helpful and on hand when we had little issues. Downstairs rooms were very comfortable and spacious. We had a lovely stay.

Awesome vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

Great vacation home, immaculate, right across the street from beach! Updated kitchen, two zone air conditioning and very comfy! It was just the two of us and our 8 year old golden retriever who also had a great time. We take our dog on all our vacations so it was fortunate for us to find a great place and pet friendly! We will definitely return next year. Thanks Alex it was a pleasure renting from you!

Excellent beach house

  • 5 of 5

The description is accurate: it is very clean, well-equipped and across the street from a warm-water beach. It is air-conditioned (very important when we were there) and has 3 TVs and wifi. There are plenty of beach towels, beach chairs and even beach toys.

Our group consisted of me and my husband and 2 toy poodles, our son and wife and grandsons, 3 and 4. It worked very well for us - kids and parents upstairs and us downstairs. We walked the dogs on leash in the yard and were so grateful that they were allowed. No sign of ticks or Mosquitos.

We were there in prime time, the 3rd week of August, which I booked back in January - I knew it would not be available for long!

The disadvantages of vacationing in So. yRmouth in August are: Rte 28 is a pain with traffic; restaurants have at least an hour wait from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Advantages: lots of "kid stuff" to do besides beach: miniature golf, even bowling. Suggestions: Skippers right down the street for lobster and Seafood Sam's on 28 for clam strips and onion rings!

Great vacation destination!

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommended. The house has everything one would need for a relaxing vacation, including lots of space to spread out inside. The location couldn't be better, with a beautiful sandy beach just walking distance away, as well as restaurants, stores, and entertainment nearby. The owners were helpful and prompt in all correspondence. I would definitely go back!

Great Place

  • 5 of 5

Alex was super nice and helpful in getting the reservation taken care of. The house is in a great location and directly across from the beach. We came during the off season, so a lot of touristy places were closed, but the beach was beautiful and there was still a lot to see. I would definitely recommend this house!

The Cape Cod lies south of Boston on the East Coast of the United States.

In the mid-19th century Cape Cod became a popular summer vacation destination for wealthy families living in Boston and Providence. Today Cape Cod is the premier vacation resort in New England.

Cape Cod is the place for wide, sandy beaches with beautiful dunes, lighthouses, sea captains’ homes, fishing villages, seafood (particularly oysters, clams, and lobsters), cranberries, and numerous recreational opportunities.

Cape Cod offers many beautiful sandy beaches for you to enjoy. Beaches on the Cape Cod Bay north side may have cooler water temperatures than the warmer waters of the south facing beaches of Nantucket Sound.

Cape Cod tests all public bathing beach waters. Monitoring results from previous seasons indicate exceptional water quality on Cape Cod, and the Cape Cod National Seashore beaches are part of the Blue Wave Campaign for quality.

Water sports are very popular on the Cape. Canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, swimming - find the best way to make your perfect day! Perhaps, you will take a whale watching excursion, enjoy a few hours of beach combing, and go fishing by your own or on a chartered cruise.

Cape Cod is a unique place for nature lovers, bird-watchers, hikers and whale watchers, sailors and surf casters. In 1961 a significant portion of the east-facing Atlantic coast of Cape Cod was made part of the Cape Cod National Seashore by President John F. Kennedy. Large portions are open to the public.

Although the Cape experiences a tourist explosion each summer, Cape Cod is virtually a year-round resort. No matter the season, Cape Cod beaches can always be walked, the bike trails enjoyed, and golf courses played.

The geography of Cape Cod resembles a flexed arm that thrusts out into the Atlantic Ocean. It owes its origin to glaciers that were active in the area. Over time, these glacier deposits became reshaped by waves and nearby ocean currents. Cape Cod is divided into a number of different sections. Each section or town on the Cape has something unique about it – natural beauty, the arts, history and recreational pursuits. The Cape is about 70 miles long and is often subdivided into six main regions: Upper-Cape, Mid-Cape, Lower-Cape, Outer-Cape and the Islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Our Houses are located in the Mid-Cape with the south facing beaches of Nantucket Sound - the warmest waters on Cape Cod!
