Our House is directly facing the beautiful Nantucket Sound SeaView Beach, which is a part of the uninterruptable chain on the beaches over 3 miles long. You will enjoy a wide stretch of clean sand and dunes, lovely warm waters, many activities (including fishing off the pier) there. There are lifeguards, restrooms, showers, snack bars, kid’s playgrounds on these beaches to facilitate family outings. The Skipper restaurant, well-known for its awards winning chowder and lobster and delicious ice cream, is within 5 minutes of the leisurely walk of the house. Just a quick 5 minute drive to Route 28 will take you to numerous restaurants and bars (including the famous Captain Parker’s), supermarkets and a variety of shops. A favorite among area sight-seeing stops is the Cape Cod National Seashore--a stretch of preserved natural beach where picnicking and guided tours are offered. Departing from Hyannis is a scenic tour aboard the Cape Cod Railroad. The two-hour tour passes cranberry bogs, salt marshes, the seacoast, and Cape Cod Bay and Canal. You will enjoy a tour of Cape lighthouses. There are eight working lighthouses on the Cape, mile-for-mile one of the largest concentrations of working lighthouses in the world. Our quests from Boston wrote in our in-house Quest book:

'Perfect House for summer and winter vacations!

We spent one week at the end of August and one week in December in this beautiful house with the unbeatable location on the Nantucket Sound Sea View Beach. We love this House! It MORE than met our expectations. In reality the house is better than in the listing... Beds, beddings, linen, bath/beach towels- new and very good quality. The kitchen is brand new, very well equipped, granite counter top, microwave with conventional stove - pleasure to cook! The house is VERY comfortable, spotlessly clean and location is just fantastic – less than one minute, and you are on the beach! The house is also close to very good restaurants end entertainment. We can highly recommend Skipper (just 5 min walk of the house), the Yarmouth House, Captain Parker's pub.

If you like to run swimming after waking up (even before breakfast) in the blue, warm water, stroll along the shore, collect beautiful shells and enjoy morning sun - this house is for you! You don't need a car, you don't need to carry umbrellas, beach chairs (which are provided by owner) etc. to the beach if you don't plan to spend there several hours. You can be back to YOUR house any minute...

The house is conveniently located, very good start point for the daily trips. We went to Nantucket, Provincetown, the Cape Cod National Seashore, Whale-watching cruise, Pirate's Cove mini-golf, Zooquarium...

Our stay in December was also very enjoyable. We went to the beach - sunny days, mild weather, birds, schells, beatiful sunsets... Our favorite restaurants were open and offered delicious meals. The fireplace, games, books, talks, cooking, shopping, antiquing (famous glass)- we were busy every day! But we found the time to listen the MET opera at the historical Cape Cinema known for the largest in the U.S. and one of only five murals Kent did in his lifetime. Also, we didn't miss the magical journey on the Polar Express!

Alex and Val, you are very lucky to have a nice home like yours, and many thanks for share it!

We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this BEACH House to anyone - you will have a fantastic time!'

Just right!

  • 5 of 5

The house was delightful, with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. When we encountered an especially cold week for Cape Cod, the heat worked beautifully and Alex even helped us get into our frozen car! This house would be fabulous in the summer, with the beach right across the street.

Overall a good stay

  • 4 of 5

We shared this home with our extended family, for a joint vacation. The location was enjoyed by everyone. We would've preferred another full/queen bed in one of the bedrooms, but made it work. The kitchen and the laundry room are wonderful (although there was no bulb in the fixture in the laundry room). The upstairs toilet was a bit of an issue (the mechanism in the tank needs to be repaired). The house was spacious, the deck was a nice was the outdoor shower. We enjoyed our stay here.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying at our SeaView Beach house and enjoying your family reunion. Thank you for your review. As we advertise and remind our guests upon arrival our properties have a maintenance 24x7. In case of issues/questions (it’s a big house!) you had to make a call or send a text message to me and expect the help in 15 min. We always check the readiness of the house for the new quests. At the same time we ask our quests to let us know ASAP if anything is out of order or running low so we can fix/replace it for other quests too. The toilet was fixed and bulb was replaced. By the way, two twin beds can be easily transfer into one king size bed - just let us know. Best regards, Alex

Week to remember!

  • 5 of 5

The house was wonderful. The owner was very attentive to any issues of which there was an not one very minor. Surprisingly spacious and comfortable for our large family. I would recommend this house very highly.

The beach was very nice and clean, just a short walk from the house.

Location for side trips and shopping was very good.

Overall a positive experience.

I am not a fan of the "homeaway" service but this property makes up for some bad experiences with that service.

Nice beach house, walk across the street to the beach. 90 seconds to the sand! The whole area is perfect, 3 minutes walk to the "SKIPPER" restaurant. Great seafood and ice cream stand behind the restaurant. RTE 28 is a few minutes drive to many other restaurants. We loved the "PANCAKE MAN" for breakfast! "GERARDIS" for Italian!

The house is perfect, has everything you need. Plenty of room, great AC! (2 zone) 2 full baths, nice deck, kitchen is great, comfortable furniture. And the outside shower is great for rinsing off.

You are 30 minutes to CHATHAM if you want to go see the seals, and 40 minutes to NAUSET beach on the ATLANTIC, (more seals) and possibly SHARKS! Also "LIAMS" is right on the beach for lunch, (excellent fish n chips!)

I met Alex and Val the 1st day, nice people, very helpful. Alex fixed the kitchen stove on the 1st day. Val checked to make sure house was clean and that we had enough towels. We actually arrived early and Alex saw me and opened the house so we could put our food away!

We had a great time, had perfect weather. Not 1 drop of rain while we were there, last week of June.

The Cape Cod lies south of Boston on the East Coast of the United States.

In the mid-19th century Cape Cod became a popular summer vacation destination for wealthy families living in Boston and Providence. Today Cape Cod is the premier vacation resort in New England.

Cape Cod is the place for wide, sandy beaches with beautiful dunes, lighthouses, sea captains’ homes, fishing villages, seafood (particularly oysters, clams, and lobsters), cranberries, and numerous recreational opportunities.

Cape Cod offers many beautiful sandy beaches for you to enjoy. Beaches on the Cape Cod Bay north side may have cooler water temperatures than the warmer waters of the south facing beaches of Nantucket Sound.

Cape Cod tests all public bathing beach waters. Monitoring results from previous seasons indicate exceptional water quality on Cape Cod, and the Cape Cod National Seashore beaches are part of the Blue Wave Campaign for quality.

Water sports are very popular on the Cape. Canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, swimming - find the best way to make your perfect day! Perhaps, you will take a whale watching excursion, enjoy a few hours of beach combing, and go fishing by your own or on a chartered cruise.

Cape Cod is a unique place for nature lovers, bird-watchers, hikers and whale watchers, sailors and surf casters. In 1961 a significant portion of the east-facing Atlantic coast of Cape Cod was made part of the Cape Cod National Seashore by President John F. Kennedy. Large portions are open to the public.

Although the Cape experiences a tourist explosion each summer, Cape Cod is virtually a year-round resort. No matter the season, Cape Cod beaches can always be walked, the bike trails enjoyed, and golf courses played.

The geography of Cape Cod resembles a flexed arm that thrusts out into the Atlantic Ocean. It owes its origin to glaciers that were active in the area. Over time, these glacier deposits became reshaped by waves and nearby ocean currents. Cape Cod is divided into a number of different sections. Each section or town on the Cape has something unique about it – natural beauty, the arts, history and recreational pursuits. The Cape is about 70 miles long and is often subdivided into six main regions: Upper-Cape, Mid-Cape, Lower-Cape, Outer-Cape and the Islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Our Houses are located in the Mid-Cape with the south facing beaches of Nantucket Sound - the warmest waters on Cape Cod!
