Perfect rental property! Kapaa was the perfect location on Kauai! This condo overall was very clean. The staff was great. The condo had all the extras (beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, extra pillows & blankets, soft sheets & comforter, hair dryer, toys, books, night lights, spices, cooking oils, plenty of pans, dishes, & tupeware) Even though the AC was located in the living room, there was a vent shooting air right from the AC into the BR which actually made the bedroom the coldest! We never used any of the pools or hot tubs because we were out adventuring all day and by the time we got "home" it was closed. (10pm) Everything closes early on the island and even the people staying at the condo turned in early. There was never any noise late at night or early in the morning, or really ever! Definitely go to the Farmer's market next door at Coconut Marketplace Tues & Thurs 8-12. We found the best souvenirs at the ABC store at Coconut Marketplace too. This was our first time in Hawaii (9 days) and when we come back we will definitely be staying here again, but for longer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day stay in Kauai. The property description was very accurate and our stay at the Plantation Hale Suite was everything we had hoped it would be. It was clean and well stocked with all the supplies one would need. We loved the central location to other attractions on the island. Walking distance to great restaurants and grocery stores. Beautifully maintained property, pools and grounds. We would highly recommend this place to others considering a great Kauai location.

Reservation, confirmation, check-in and check-out processes were easy and professional. Location of the property and the unit were ideal; close to beach access and town amenities, and not directly on main road (foliage barriers). The furniture was set exactly as photos, and stocked with most basic amenities for a short convenient stay. For my 3-week stay, however, many of the items ran out or low (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage can liners, foil, plastic wrap, etc.) and I purchased to restock. In addition, there weren't sufficient cleaning supplies available (access) to maintain and a large additional fee was required to have someone to come in weekly, so I ended up purchasing cleaning supplies, as well. Crystal at the front desk was exceptional; friendly, professional, efficient, and generous with her knowledge and experiences. Marilyn at the activity center was also phenomenally helpful and pleasant, though currently she's traveling and no longer there. Used the garbage and recycling, and parking daily; used the pools and hot tubs several times a week; and, the bbq grill once. All were good, with the exception of the garbage container being locked twice and over rowdy guests (unsupervised kids) in a pool area a few times. Grounds were constantly maintained and beautifully landscaped. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would consider returning and recommending to others.
