Great place to stay!! Close to Glacier, private, peaceful, convenient & had everything we needed. Owners very helpful & accommodating. We stayed here with our college age daughter & hope to stay there again. Highly recommend it!
Would not stay anywhere else when visiting beautiful Glacier. John and Ginger have been our hosts for the past two years. Last year we mentioned a full size fridge would be nice, and when we got there this year, there it was. The cabin is clean and cozy and the bed is very comfy after a day of hiking. Saw deer in the yard and you are only a stones throw from the "Packers Roost" where you get the best burgers in the area and an unbelievable prime rib dinner on Friday nights. Was always nice after a day of hiking to stop and say hi to John and Ginger's golden retriever Enzo. And don't forget while you're there to get up early and go to Carolyn's for a hearty breakfast. The cabin is nestled in the pines which gives you a feeling of privacy, but you're only a couple miles from the park entrance. There is a grill for you to use, and we did. Felt like we were among friends while we were there, and of course there is the park itself. September was a great time to visit as the park changed everyday as the colors were changing. You can spend big dollars and stay at one of the fancy lodges, but if you're looking to get that getaway experience, contact Ginger. They're cabin is very affordable and charming. Sit out on the deck after a long day of hiking and enjoy the calm and quiet with a beverage of your choice. Like I said, wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when visiting glacier.
A perfect cabin for a couple or small family - we loved having a nice, clean, and private place to relax in after spending all day in the park. The cabin offered everything we needed to enjoy a week long getaway. It was especially nice on the days when the weather was rainy and we had a cozy place to retreat. John and Ginger were very nice people and made us feel at home. We enjoyed meeting them, as well as their beautiful and friendly dog Enzo. He reminded us of our dogs we were missing at home. I would recommend staying here as an alternative to the crowded cabins and lodges in the park. Thanks for a nice stay! We hope to return in the future.
Absolutely one of the best log cabins you'll find around the Glacier NP area. Very secluded, quiet and very close to West Glacier entrance to the park. Our host, John, was very friendly and welcoming as was their golden retriever Enzo. Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while visiting Glacier National Park! The cabin was very clean and comfortable! We slept great and it had everything we needed! We had a great time chatting with the owners as well, great people!
Nestled in evergreens, this cabin is 10 minutes from Glacier National Park. Rafting companies, water park, and amusement center are within minutes from the cabin.
