About Ken Bailey

The owners, Ken and Vicki Bailey, live in Spartanburg, SC which is about 40 minutes away. We have four children and five grandchildren, so spare time or quiet time is just a dream. Art, YMCA work, hunting, fishing, and family take up all of our time.

Ken Bailey purchased this house in 2005

Why Ken Bailey chose Asheville Area

We visited this area quite often because two very good friends from college live in nearby Columbus. It is such a different environment here from south Georgia that we realized this would be a great place to 'get away'. Small town life with big city conveniences. Our youngest son said it best 'The air is always better up here'

What makes this house unique

The view from the living room and the back deck is just breathtaking. There is no doubt, once you see that view, that we have a great and wonderful God. I always feel closer to God when I am sitting in the rockers on the back deck surrounded by the beauty He has created.

This is our 4th straight year of renting this property over a long weekend in the fall, thursday thru sunday. The view from the deck is to kill for. Ideal location, nice and quiet. Can't wait to go back next year !!!!! A must stay for anyone that is even thinking about it

Amazing views, lovely home!!

  • 5 of 5

All of the members of our book club absolutely loved our stay! The house was clean and well appointed; beds were comfortable; kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cookware. The feel of the house was inviting and cheerful! The views from the back deck are phenomenal!! The upstairs master bath has a lovely tub, but no shower, which was not expected, but it did not cause any real inconvenience. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place! My only complaint is that my stay wasn't long enough but that is surely on me.

Renting from VRBO is such a great experience. This property didn't disappoint. The kitchen was extremely nice. The house was roomy and it never felt like we were on top of each other. The view from the deck was beautiful. Although, next time I am coming in the fall. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing home with an amazing view

  • 5 of 5

Son was getting married in Hendersonville with family coming to town from Kentucky, California, and Massachusetts.... This was the perfect rental property for us. Clean, well maintained and well stocked with every thing you need inside and out..... The deck was enjoyed by all with a view that was beyond words. The owner was great to work with and I would recommend to friends and family and rent again self.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

This was an amazing house with a perfect view. I live in the area but the rest of my family is out of state and I do not have a place large enough for my whole family to visit. This gave us the opportunity to spend some time together. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was a wonderful place to cook for everyone and the view incredible. We were able to take full advantage of the area visiting DuPont, Asheville, Hendersonville, floating on the green river and even a Zipline over the GOrge! Hope to stay there again!!
