The house was upgraded and beautiful and in a great location. The kitchen did not have any useful or practical utensils to cook with such as a spatula, cooking spoons, or even a ladle. Everything seemed broken including our coffee pot which we found out in the morning before having to leave to get to the slopes. The tv remote control downstairs had no back and no batteries. And the biggest flaw was the Dirty spa... which was one of the main reasons we wanted this property! We have stayed at several other properties in Mammoth using VRBO and we're always satisfied until this time. I definitely was not impressed with this property.
This home is gorgeous! And perfect for multiple families! Very spacious, clean, everything was perfect for our arrival. Some of the kitchen utensils/dishes/pots are old & could benefit from replacing, but, nothing to inhibit us from cooking everything we did. The huge windows are gorgeous!! Plenty of seating & the home is spacious that no one feels on top of each other. The secondary rooms are on the small side, but, there is plenty of other space in the home that it makes up for it. The master is absolutely huge and gorgeous. Super close to the village, you could technically walk there! We can't wait to come back!!
If you are planning to rent this location, I highly suggest in reconsidering your action. The pillows contained numerous spots, including blood, and yellow round marks all over the pillows. The sheets were dirty and that also includes the duvets. Further, the towels were dirty as well. We had to wash all the sheets, the towels, and the duvets all through the night in order for us to sleep at least through the night. Next morning we visited the office and we also took few of the pillows for them to witness how incredibly disgusting they were. The office staff seemed "surprised" but we highly doubt that they weren't aware of the conditions. Regardless, they came in and exchanged the sheets and the pillows as well. Further, the fire place was not working at all, it took about a day for them to come and fix this issue. The master bathroom floor heating was not working and they were not able to fix that issue. The kitchen utensils and the pans are extremely old and overused to another level. They forgot to give us the garage door openers till the 4th day and we did not even bother driving to the office to obtain the garage door openers for only the last day. The condo is in prime location and it is close to the village. The living room and the kitchen is a good size and very comfortable. All in all, I will not recommended this to my friends or family. It was disgusting to stay at this location and we did not even bother using the hot tub since we were dealt with unsanitary pillows, sheets, towels, duvets. For the amount of money we paid we expect that the they clean the essentials or exchange them when they are worn out. Don't waste your money and don't ruin your vacation buy renting this location.
My family stayed for a week in July. Great location within walking distance to the Village and an easy drive to the Mammoth Lakes. After days of hiking, fishing and golfing we enjoyed being together at the house hanging out on the deck, enjoying the spa and cooking in the fabulous kitchen. Every bedroom having its own bathroom offered privacy for everyone. The open setting of the living room, kitchen and loft was a great space to visit and hang out. I highly recommend this property and Mammoth for a great summer vacation.
