The unit is in the Aqua Pacific Monarch in the heart of Waikiki. We are only a block and a half away from beautiful Waikiki beach, which is about 2.5 minutes walking. The building is easily reached from the airport by a shuttle or taxi.
The unit is on the 32nd floor, which is the penthouse floor, the floor above is the rec room, pool and Jacuzzi. Newly remodeled luxury Studio condo with 1 Bath, brand new queen size bed, luxury mattress and a Samsung flat screen HD TV. It is fully equipped and sleeps two people.
Enjoy the ocean, city and mountain views during the day and beautiful, romantic city lights at night. Watch amazing sunsets and the firework show every Friday night.
There are many restaurants walking distance from the building to choose from, as well as lots of shopping and nightlife.
Right across the street from the Pacific Monarch there are multiple convenience stores and many restaurants to choose from, such as a high end steak house, Mexican and Japanese and Italian restaurants, small cafes frozen yogurt and even fast food restaurants. Also, Tokyo's famous teppanyaki restaurant, Jinroku, just opened up in the building.
The building has a heated rooftop swimming pool and a hot tub with 360 degree Panoramic Views.
The building and the entire neighborhood is very safe. Building also has an on-site property manager, should you need any assistance during your stay.

Bus stop is just steps away from the lobby. You can take the bus pretty much anywhere on the island, it is very convenient.
A travel desk is located in the lobby for tours and local attractions.
Covered parking is available in the building, for a daily rate of $24, payable at the parking booth.

This property is ideally placed and has fabulous views considering it's not beach front Waikiki. There were a few minor maintenance issues required to the property - it's a little tired but very clean.
Overall a great place with nice views of the skyline and Waikiki beach!

Spotlessly clean with a nice color scheme, modern quality furnishings and a very comfy bed.
The crushed ice dispenser in the fridge was great on the hot days. Quiet air conditioner.
The pool is great, however the beach is close enough to swim there everyday.

My Husband and I had a great time at this accommodation in May 2015 (10 days). It was everything it was promised to be and more! We especially enjoyed the huge windows and ocean view - absolutely beautiful! The rooftop pool and hot tub were clean and sparkling! The owner was very responsive and accommodating, as were the hotel front desk staff! We hope to stay here again in the future!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our nine days in apartment 3204. Being on the top floor, with only the recreation room above, it was very quiet. Everything that we needed was supplied including beach towels and beach chairs. A compact studio but well set out and while the balcony is very narrow, you can open up the sliding doors and invite the outside in. We appreciated the air conditioning because with a wall of windows and thin curtains, it got hot in the afternoon. The air conditioner kept it at a comfortable temperature. The leather reclining couch was very comfortable and we enjoyed the large flat screen TV with cable connected. The free Wi Fi worked well and the fridge with the cold water and ice dispenser was brilliant. While the Pacific Monarch is looking a bit tired, the apartment certainly isn't and the location is perfect for accessing the beach and all of the Waikiki down town attractions, shopping and eating establishments. A full supermarket is within a five minute walk and this supplied plenty of beautiful fresh fruit as well as all our other grocery supplies. There were only two minor issues that we encountered; the mattress was too soft and so we turned it over to the firmer side (which was perfect)and the curtains are thin and don't touch the floor resulting in the apartment becoming light as soon as the sun rises - once again it didn't bother us but you might need a sleep mask if you need a darkened room. We would certainly stay in this apartment again because we thoroughly enjoyed the comfort, the views and the location.
This rental property was a great location. It was a very short walk to the beach and located just across the street from the bus station. Right across the street is a great little shop for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The price there for breakfast is cheaper than most places in Waikiki. They do have a pool right above the unit but why would you go to the pool when the beach is only a short 5 minute walk. The only cons I can think of is that there is no gym so I paid for a weekly membership at 24 hour fitness which was expensive. The parking in the building is managed by another company and the cost of that is $25 a day. I think they close the gate after a certain time because I've seen the gate in the down position during the later hours in the evening. Overall, the price of the unit is much better compared to the hotels in the area and Julia response time was quick whenever I had questions. We had a great time during our stay in Oahu.
