It's the private, Up North getaway you've always dreamed of! It sits near the end of a dead end so it's quiet with no traffic or noise from the highway.
Walk directly out to the lake and bask in all Gull Lake has to offer!
The house was very clean and tidy, and obviously well taken care of. It's tucked back in a quiet development and has a large back deck to sit outside on and enjoy the lake, or to sit and do jigsaw puzzles, as my kids did! Easy to swim off of the dock and use the lakeside fire pit. Kitchen is fully equipped. Kids--and adults--spent many pleasant hours fishing off of the small bridge you cross over to enter the development. We also rented a pontoon boat for several days but kept it docked at the rental place. Used the boat to visit restaurants--Ernie's and zorbas were fun and good for kids. Enjoyed many days strolling around the cute shops in Nisswa, and visiting the coffeeshop and candy store in town. A lovely trip. Thanks for sharing your home!
My brother and his family joined us for a great vacation on Gull Lake. This cabin was the perfect setting with it's picturesque view of the lake and it's beautiful decor. It was very clean and nicely furnished with ample towels, cookware and linens. We spent time on the dock watching the sunrise and set and feeding the ducks. The fire pit was a favorite gathering spot for smores each evening. There was ample room with four bedrooms, a large dining room and living room. The deck and hammock were perfect for relaxing. Can easily accommodate a group of 10 or more. The hosts were very helpful when my niece forgot a few of her things. It is located near Grandview Lodge where we paid a nominal fee to spent the day on their beach, in their water park and playing bingo. Perfect for kids. We played golf at the Pines and Preserve which were five minutes away. Dinner at Manhattan's was well worth the drive to see breathtaking sunsets. We rented a pontoon boat from Gull Lake Marina and docked at Prairie Bay and Ernie's for lunch. We could't have been happier and can't wait to go back next summer.
This was a such great house for our family reunion. Very comfortable with all the amenities that you could want. We especially loved the fire pit. It was situated on a great park of the lake with super easy access to all the lake activities that you could want. It was also a quick and easy drive to the nearest, markets, bait shops, etc.
The property was exactly as pictured and described on Home away. You could tell that things were well maintained and the place was spotless.
The Owners were lovely and very accommodating. I highly recommend this a a great vacation spot!
Cabin was great. Nice open floor plan. Bedrooms located in all corners of the home is ideal. We were able to put the kids in the back bedrooms with the bunk beds. We only had one (minor) issue and the owner was extremely responsive in getting it resolved w/ in hours of notification. We really enjoyed being on Gull Lake. The cabin was spotless, lawn was clean. We used the firepit near the lake at night. We were able to swim off the dock during the day. The quick access to restaurants and resorts was very convenient for us. Golfing at Grandview, Dinner at Bar Harbor, coffee and shopping at the local stores in Nisswa - perfect.
We have been back 5+ times to this particular cabin and have enjoyed it each time! We have made this cabin a favorite tradition for our family.
Schaeffers Grocery store and Nisswa Spirits are just minutes away. You can be to The Pines in 5 minutes, and Grandview is directly across the Bay.
