This is a beautiful bright apartment in Chelsea close to shops and the subway. Big dining area and well equipped kitchen. Fantastic view of Empire State building. The owner is very nice and easy to contact if you need help with anything. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a home away from home in the big city.
John is amazing! This little gem in Chelsea exceeded our expectations. John is a gracious host. Cupcakes, munchies and a fully stocked fridge with Sparkling water, Wine, sparkling wine and Beer.
The apartment itself is comfortable, well decorated with beautiful art throughout.
The view and location was perfect. Walking distance to Chelsea Market, Whitney and the Highline. Surrounded by great shopping and food.
14th St Subway stop right around the corner, so easy to get around.
This was the perfect place to stay, it made our time in the city so nice and easy.
If you are looking for a place to stay in the middle of Chelsea, look no further. We celebrated my 40th birthday and could not be happier with our choice.
Steps from the Market in one direction and the 14th street subway station in the other.
Why book a hotel like every other tourist? Get to know the real NY!!!!!
The owner John was accomodating and made himself available for whatever we may have needed. The apartment has lovely antiques and lots of art and so it lends the small space warmth and character. It is clean and the bed is comfortable if you prefer a not too firm mattress. Plenty of towels though some face/wash cloths would be a nice addition. It is a fifth floor walk up and no elevator hence the 4 stars.
The location was great, the place was very clean. The host was very accommodating about our late arrival and attentive to us in response to questions or needs. Would definitely recommend
I hesitate to write a review for this gem of an apartment, because if I do, others will snap it up and it will never be available to me when I need it! This lovely apartment boasts fine art, the most gracious host, everything you need, and a beautiful view of the Empire State building from the master bedroom.
Upon arrival I was greeted by John who took the time to show me everything, give me suggestions about local businesses and offer us a bottle of wine. His cabinets were stocked with teas and coffees and anything you need for a short stay.
The apartment is located a block away from the Highline, near a multitude of wonderful restaurants and and is close many of the major New York attractions. Staying in the apartment makes you feel like a New Yorker who is fortunate enough to live in a very charming neighborhood. The apartment is a walk up, which is typical of most New York apartments, but once you are "home" it is quiet, comfortable and a wonderful place to stay. I will be back many times.
