Great property in Seattle!

  • 5 of 5

Walkable distance to train, restaurants, pubs, groceries, everything! Needed a couple of dish cloths for tidying up but overall great. We had two couples so the rooms on the separate floors was ideal. Thanks!

Great home in a great neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

This house will not disappoint! Two of us stayed a week (to visit son who lives nearby) and had a great time with plenty of room. House has everything you'll need (except foil wrap for use in the kitchen, oddly). The beds are comfy and bathrooms are great. Feed the koi in the courtyard pond and relax. Best part by far is the rooftop deck where we sat for hours in the waning days of summer sun. Quiet neighborhood but a mere 2 blocks from happening Broadway.

Great location, good for family of four

  • 5 of 5

Pros: very nice tree-lined street and neighborhood; convenient to public transportation, grocery store and many restaurants and coffee shops; pretty koi pond - the kids loved feeding them; nice roof deck; the trilevel floor plan was great for our family of 4; it's like staying at your cool artist / foodie friend's house - homey and well stocked - not sterile like other rentals we have had. Plenty of soaps, paper products, condiments, etc.

Cons: in summer weather, upstairs master was overheated; would prefer that the master bedroom could become more light tight with window coverings; small garage. We tried inquiring about the garage size but ended up having to switch rental cars because the communication was unclear and the guaranteed length measurement provided was too small for any car. The garage is narrow, very near another building, and has items stored in it. We traded a Mazda 5 for a Toyota Prius. The Prius fit fine.

Our favorite restaurants were Skillet for breakfast & Fogon Cocina Mexicana with homemade tortillas.

Well designed, modern townhome in great location

  • 5 of 5

The property was extremely comfortable and suited my families needs very well. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to work in. The roof top terrace was a favorite of ours to watch sunset and have a glass of wine. It was located near Broadway on Capital Hill with numerous restaurants and other food choices available as well as tram station and public transportation nearby.

Great Choice!

  • 5 of 5

The Artist House worked out perfect for our family get together! The property was clean on arrival and easy to keep tidy because it was so spacious, and everything you need is there. The beds are comfy, the showers have great pressure, the kitchen has everything you need and then some. The view from the rooftop deck is beautiful day and night! Easy walk to grocery, restaurants, shopping. Beautiful views of Lake Union if you walk around the neighborhood. This was our first visit to Seattle, and we made a great choice staying at the Artist House!

Great place, very comfortable, great location!

  • 5 of 5

We were extremely pleased with this place for our week long stay in Seattle. It was so comfortable and had everything the 4 of us needed, plenty of dispensable products and very clean. We were able to cook out on the 4th floor with our family, and the master bedroom is really spacious and comfortable. The bottom floor where our son us (we never heard them) and they enjoyed relaxing by the Koi Pond. There was a little bit of a mixup on the parking but Tina was very responsive in getting it worked out. The location is also amazing, just a few blocks from the shops and the restaurants on Broadway! I would strongly recommend this place!
