Situated in the heart of lively Upper Street, Angel, N1, the apartment is completely refurbished with modern furnishing and décor. It includes 3 High speed Internet/WIFI Internet in the building, perfect for business purposes. Cable TV, fully equipped kitchen, and automatic central heating, and PLAYSTATION PS3 with games.

This is a self-contained private apartment with no shared facilities. Just minutes away from London’s most exciting and popular attractions, this flat has everything you will need for a comfortable living experience in London.

Located in very safe and eco-friendly neighbourhood, the apartment is walking distance from many restaurants, shops, and local supermarkets; with many on the doorstep too. Transport by metro/tube, bus, and even bicycles are available nearby.

If you have good luck you will meet our favourite previous Mayor of London - Boris Johnson - while he goes shopping as he chose Angel as his home. Islington is well known for nightlife and theatre and offers an impressive range to rival the West End.

You will be sent you confirmation right away after you book online, with complete welcome pack, directions and contacts. We will meet you at the apartment and hand 2 sets of keys and show you how everything works.

There is central heating and fan, and no need for Air Conditioning (AC) in London.

The spacious living room area hosts a couch that converts into a big double sofa-bed for additional guests, as well as an extra guest bed. A dining area for 4-6 can be found in the living room. The entertainment system includes a 42-inch digital TV, cable TV service, Blu-Ray & DVD player surround sound system, I-pod/I-phone speakers, and Playstation PS3 and games. There is fiber optic wireless broadband throughout (WIFI). A courtesy UK mobile phone is provided for your use during your stay. PlayStation PS3 console with selection of games, and 2 controllers. There’s the dinner table with chairs in the pictures, and also new extra funky stools for more guests.

There is public (paid) parking for your car- should you choose to drive into London. We recommend public transport instead- because it can take you everywhere. My apartment doesn’t have parking but you’ll be able to park in the streets (pay-and-display) or at indoor parking at the N1 centre in our area here. Complete specific detailed information will be sent with your booking confirmation and arrival instructions and you can look up online too.

The price also comprises of a long-term discount (for stays longer than 6 nights). And for longer than 12 nights even more. Moreover the rates include all bills and services from WIFI to gas, and local taxes, etc. These are very significant in London but I took care of them for you. There’s nothing extra to pay. I've stayed in this flat for two weeks this July, with my husband and my kids of 5 and 8.

We were looking for a comfortable, spacious, safe and clean place for a reasonable price where we could feel at home during our vacances in London. Well located but far enough from busiest London streets (only three tube stations from Oxford Circus).

We found all that mentioned at this flat in Islington. A lively neighborhood even at night (at least in summer days...) full of restaurants, cafés, bars...(we only sorry not to have had a baby sitter!) as well as shops and supermarkets. Buses almost at the door and a short walking distance from two tube stations.

The apartment is exactly as in the pictures and video shown here. When we arrived felt as if we would already have stayed there before!

Everything we used worked well, we found all supplies we needed, especially a fully equiped kitchen. Both Bed and sofá were very confortable.

Watching a starry sky since terrace at nights was really an unespected plus......fifteen fully sunny days in London !!! ( ....was Paulo's team who managed this too?!)

We'll be back for sure.

Pluses and Minuses

We were very happy with the location of the apartment (excellent transport and restaurants) and with the

support of owner Paulo and his staff. Our main reservation relates to the bedroom. It is advertised as having

a "king" bed. This is not the case,even allowing for differences in UK and North American terminology. It is

a double bed not even a queen. Moreover,one side is pushed against the wall meaning that one partner has to

clamber over the other to get out of bed. On the other side the gap between the bed and wall varies between one

and two feet,which can be tricky in the middle of the night. To be fair,all this is evident from the photos of the

apartment online. Finally, the the top of the very good mattress falls below the surrounding board supports which

can make exiting a bit hard on the behind. We eventually slept on the sofa bed in the living room but that too involves

one partner having to climb over the other to get out along with a less comfortable mattress. The good living room just

lacks a comfortable chair. The kitchen works well and is well equipped. The bathroom is adequate. Getting in and out of

the apartment means navigating two sets of narrow stairs and the use of various keys. The apartment probably works best

for a younger couple than those over 50.

Owner's Response: Had you given these comments during your stay I could have done something and even bring a bigger bed. The U.K. King size bed is different from the US sizes. We have a uk king size bed - the only bigger one is the super-King size. Like you say - everything is like in the pictures. I'm sad to get a 3 star review for you say you enjoyed the stay and location but I recall some grumpy emails. All I can do is recommend the best restaurants and spots in London and keep the apartment clean comfortable and fresh and well maintained. I hear feedback and take improvements very seriously.

A secret you want to keep but you know you have to share it !

My stay in this simply wonderful apartment for the first half of September was such a joy !! You know when you go on vacation and you find that perfect situation where you have found the right neighborhood and a perfect place to stay within it and then you just want to keep it all to yourself? This is the place ! Paulo has created a home that is so completely charming and welcoming and to top it off, located in a wonderful area of Islington. It just wouldn't be fair for me to keep this place a secret (even though I want to) you have to experience it for yourself.

This home has everything you need and Paulo's staff will take care of you if you should need anything more. The neighborhood on Upper Street is so ideal with such a vibrant restaurant and pub scene that you could literally stay in the neighborhood and be content. The restaurant downstairs from the Apartment is called Pera and serves delicious Mediterranean and Turkish fare oh the Humus was so wonderful. Also nearby (just steps away really) are some wonderful Fish and Chips right next door to some of the best homemade Ice Cream I've ever had it's called Udderlicious (love the name). You are a short walk to Markets and of course to the Islington Underground stations and of course there are Bus Routes just outside the apartment door. Quite simply this is where you want to be !!

To all who visit and stay in this lovely apartment all I can say is YOU WILL LOVE IT. Now, please take care of this place and it will take care of you as you will treat this apartment as your own and will want to keep it all to yourself but do share it with friends as they will love it as well.

I cannot wait to return to my new found home away from home that Paulo and his team have so lovingly created and I want to personally thank them for all of their help and assistance they provided me. Paulo, your professionalism and very caring staff are what makes "WONDERFUL" vacations possible !!

I will come back just as soon as I can !!

Bright, attractive flat in great location

The location of this flat is just great - in a lively attractive part of London full of interesting shops and nice cafés, and yet so close to the centre and all major tourist attractions. Excellent transport links with two tube stations close by and many buses.

We found the kitchen well-equipped, the beds comfortable and the attractive little terrace complete with hammock a real bonus. Everything was clearly explained and efficiently and professionally managed by the owner and his team. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely oasis in the heart of a fun and lively neighbourhood. Very quiet at night so sleep was no problem. The pictures accurately reflect this flat which was also very clean. So nice to have a private deck on the back and having a washing machine and dishwasher was very convenient. Lots of stores, pubs and restaurants nearby and the view of Islington Town Hall was great for people watching. I saw 2 lovely weddings while I was there. Miss my view actually. Definitely would recommend and be back if possible.

Everything you need

This flat could not have been better. I was travelling solo for a few days in London, and I was looking for a place in a good location, close to London sights, with a nice amount of space to relax and feel at home. I got to pretend I lived in London for a few days, and I am sold!

The location on Upper Street in Angel is fabulous. You're so close to tons of restaurants, pubs, and shops, not to mention the Tube. I was able to walk to a number of the downtown sights and it was really nice to come home to a full kitchen, fix yourself a nice snack with some wine and relax on the terrace. The kitchen had everything I needed to even cook myself a proper dinner one night, which really helps to save some money while on holiday. Plenty of supermarkets in the area, plus the Chapel Street market for fresh local produce and meats.

I enjoyed lots of the local restaurants, and can especially recommend: Hoxley & Porter for great food and cocktails, Vintage Salt for excellent fish and chips, and Ottolenghi for the best vegetables you'll ever eat.

Property management was great, the apartment was clean and the booklet had all the info you need. I will definitely look to stay here again and I've recommended it to friends.
