This private oceanfront villa is set in a lush tropical garden with the turquoise Caribbean Sea and Klein Bonaire (the largest uninhabited island in the Caribbean!) in the background. Lounge by the private pool under the banana trees or swing in the hammock under the coconut palms while listening to the waves on the beach and the parrots flying over.
We provide you with a two person kayak and mountain bikes if you like to explore the island. Some of the best diving and snorkelling of the island is right out the back door. When you come back to the house you can enjoy the outside shower while enjoying the view of the Caribbean Sea.
The master bedroom has a view of the lush tropical garden and turquoise Caribbean Sea from the king size bed. There is also a dvd player, dvd library, large flat screen tv, and air conditioning. The master bathroom has both a shower and tub. The two additional bedrooms have twin beds which can be connected to make kings. Both these bedrooms also have air conditioning and one extra bathroom.
Once you have stayed here you will agree that this is Paradise Found!!

The other reviews of this property are not inflated. We spent two wonderful weeks at this house and would gladly make it our permanent home, as-is. The owner is great. He gave us a thorough orientation on the property. My wife and I immediately had smiles on our faces. You enter the house through a nice front gate leading through a jungle garden and to the front door. The décor is what you would want a beach house to be. The kitchen is better equipped with appliances and utensils than any we have rented before. Although the appliances have euro symbols on them, the owner gives you a quick lesson, and you can easily figure out the rest. There is even a fully stocked medical draw in the kitchen. The linens are quality stuff. The internet and cable are very reliable, and most issues are user-created. A lot of our time, when not diving or exploring, was spent by the pool. The pool area is immaculate, including the water, and very private. There are even several friendly lizards and iguanas that will gladly take any handouts you off. The sunsets are spectacular. Be sure to ask the owner about the fresh fish "market". He was nice enough to hand deliver a slab of tuna that was in the ocean swimming an hour before we got it. The grill is great for cooking the local fresh fish. We could go on and on. If you are considering this property against others, pick this one. We doubt there is another on the island that beats it for location and value. We are already looking forward to our next visit to our new second home.
We choose this property based on the numerous good reviews and I have to say, they are all accurate. This is a beautiful home with stunning views! The home is well kept, clean and well stocked. Anything you want or need is there. Jerome is a wonderful! This was our time using HomeAway and he was extremely helpful! He didn't just help with the renting of the home, he gave us recommendations for some things to do and places to eat; all were great! Jerome was on vacation when we stayed and we were not able to meet him. He was so nice I wish I could have thanked him in person. He even took time out of his vacation to call us to make sure everything was okay. Baasje filled in for Jerome and he was just as nice. He met us at the airport and got us to the home and settled. Once there, we were all taken aback of how beautiful the home and the views are! We loved coming home at night and relaxing in the pool or on the porch with a drink. The snorkeling right down the steps is very nice! We saw many fish and turtles! I would advise to bring aqua shoes, the entrance to the water is rocky, so you do need protection. I can't say enough good things about our experience! It really is Paradise and Jerome and Baasje are both very attentive and great to work with. I would highly recommend staying here. We can't wait to go back!
My family and I had such a wonderul experience in this beautiful home. Great location right on the waterfront. It was a true paradise. Snorkeling a few steps away from the house. I highly recomend to anyone looking for a calm retreat with a stunning sunset view. We hope to return one day.
We have traveled to beach locations quite a bit. And this one ranks among our favorites. It's so beautiful and pristine. It took a lot of effort to leave the villa. There is a sense of safety that was unexpected. Even the low water pressure and conserved energy was not a distraction, but rather part of the experience. Jerome was the best as were his referrals. Wanna Dive took amazing care of us.
Highly recommend this place regardless if you dive or not.
The villa is everything beautiful you see in the photos...and more. The gardens were gorgeous. The villa tastefully decorated with stunning wooden sculpture. The pool and grounds serene. Everything was in working order and the kitchen was fully-stocked with items you normally have to buy but never finish before you leave (coffee filters, spices, first aid items). Jerome was responsive, on time, and on point with rental car recommendation (Mark at Paradise Dolphin), places of interest, island info, and restaurants during check in and check out. We're looking forward to our return. Thanks Jerome.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day vacation at this clean and beautiful property!
Jerome was friendly and helpful from start to finish. He answered our questions and made great recommendations (like a rental car from Mark) before the trip, met us at the airport and led us to the property where he provided a tour of the villa and it's systems. He kept us informed, via emails, about local events taking place during our stay including the Rincon Festival ( a fun cultural event where we sampled iguana soup) , and a bio-luminescent ostracod night dive, which took place right off "our" beach and was enjoyed by both divers and snorkelers!
The villa was beautifully landscaped and very private. Though there are properties to each side, we never felt crowded. During the day, we used the screen doors for a wonderful cross breeze. At night we turned on the air conditioning and locked up using the security system, though it is a lovely neighborhood and we always felt safe.
Our party of six shopped at both Warehouse and Van den Tweel markets, and prepared all our meals in the amazingly equipped kitchen or grilled outdoors. Jerome provided every piece of equipment or utensil you could want and even had a selection of basic herbs and spices on hand.
The beds and bedding were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels, both bath and beach. We hung them to dry and reuse, but If you need the washing machine, beware the impossibly long wait. Even on the shortest setting it runs forever!!
Our group sampled some dive/snorkel sites around the island, visited Washington-Slagbaai on a non diving day, went to the small but very informative museum at Cultural Park Mangazina di Rei in Rincon, gave the kayak a workout by paddling to Klein Bonaire twice, and stopped at the donkey sanctuary. But between the great diving behind the house, and the wonderful pool, we could have been quite happy just hanging out at the villa for the entire trip.
If we make it back to Bonaire, we will certainly book this property again!
Worldclass diving and snorkelling right off the beach.
