The cabin was very clean and essentials were all available. We were worried about having enough pots and pans for a Thanksgiving dinner but all was available. Ms. Patty is a sweet lady and available to answer any questions. We enjoyed hiking and some of the shopping. This is our third visit and look forward to our next.
We had a wonderful time here! Our first night there we were talking about coming back again! The cabin was great! It was nice that every bedroom had its own bathroom the kitchen is a good size to prepare meals. The deck on the back is huge and had enough space so we could spend time out there looking at the stars and enjoying nature. The only negative thing I have to say is that time went by too fast!!! Next time we are going for a whole week! Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin, until next time...
We stayed at Deer Country during Spring Break. We had three generations in the cabin and there was so much space for everyone! The location is so close to the Ski Apache cut-off which made it convenient for skiing. We had everything we needed and so much space to be together for meals. The deer did not come every day but when they did, we were able to feed them out of our hands! It was awesome for our grandchildren! The hot tub was great at the end of a busy day. Although we used the grill, it was a little chilly to eat outside on the back deck but in the summer it would be a fabulous space to relax and share. Our only issue was the uncertainty of the WiFi and the television. We didn't need it much but when we did, it was inconsistent.
It is a great place to stay, it has all the commodities you need, perfect space for a big family or a large group of friends. Will definitely consider it four our next trip.
Our stay was great! It would have been amazing but there were a few housekeeping items that were not up to par; Only a few can shower within a short period of time as the hot water ran out and there were twelve of us. An electrical short prevented us from using the microwave, so if you don't need a microwave this will not effect your stay. The oven did not have a consistent temperature, so we had to set on a lower temperature than what was required. Lots of dog hair everywhere on the carpet, and throw rugs, I guess due to the previous person who stayed and the housekeeper not cleaning properly. Twelve of us fit perfectly. We will return to this cabin in the future. The small housekeeping items will not prevent us from returning.
The cabin size and scenery were fabulous. It would have been perfect if they sprayed for spiders as we found a handful indoors. We had to go buy poison to spray during our stay. Another thing they don't stock the house with enough dish soap, toilet paper or trash bags. For as big of a cabin and how many guests it holds they should supply the house with plenty of toiletries. Also clorax spray to clean counter tops in kotchen. Other than that we enjoyed the stay and the company of horses and deers.
