Are we in Temecula...or TUSCANY??

  • 5 of 5

Casa Contenta was perfect for our recent girls weekend. We comfortably slept 8 in the house. The owners/property managers did a great job showing us around and making sure we felt comfortable.

While the house is lovely and met all our needs, NOTHING compares to the backyard, the view, and the outdoor experience at this place. The view, the pool/jacuzzi, the outdoor eating areas (did I mention the VIEW?) all had us believing we were in Tuscany instead of Temecula. It was truly spectacular.

The house was also easy to find and really close (10 minute drive, max) to local wineries and grocery stores/shops. So while we felt like we were at a retreat, we weren't far from civilization (or from an Uber to take us there).

There were small things inside the house that were dated or showing their 'antique charm', but nothing that put a damper on our overall enjoyment.

Overall a fantastic find and we all want to go back! Thanks, John!

Beautiful house with amazing views in Temecula wine country

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful house with amazing views in the heart of Temecula wine country.

The outdoor areas are amazing! We barbecued and sat by the pool enjoying the views.

There are wineries a short uber away.

It's a beautiful place to escape to.

Beautiful property with breathtaking views

  • 5 of 5

Casa Contenta was perfect for our recent family weekend, unfortunately we had a lot of rain, but we still enjoyed the property. It had a special beauty and tranquility to hear the rain outside and look through the window. This property is charming and even my young daughter enjoyed all the antique charm it offered.

The town of Temecula is so cute! and wineries are fabulous! We cant wait to go back!

The owners/property managers were great to show us around. Thank you for making this a fantastic family weekend.

Great property

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the house and property very much. The managers left a lovely basket of cheese, crackers and a delicious bottle of Ponte wine to welcome us. The house is close to all the wineries, is quiet and relaxing, in beautiful surroundings and has amazing views. I will definitely return to this house when I visit Temecula again.

Gorgeous piece of property

  • 5 of 5

Our group had a wonderful time at this beautiful, peaceful property. The house was big enough for a large group and the back yard and pool were a tremendous size. The property manager was very nice and hospitable. We would recommend this superb location for anyone looking for a quiet getaway that's close to restaurants and all of the wonderful Temecula wineries!

Glamorous quality home, full of charm, room to lounge, enjoy family reunion

  • 5 of 5

We stayed a short two nights and it certainly wasn't long enough. The architectural details of the home took my breath away from the start. There really are no words to describe how beautiful the home is and how thoughtful the homeowners have been with their decorative choices. I felt like I transported in time to a Casablanca set, or maybe Romeo and Juliet, with all of their balconies (4 on my count). Piano, old silver, decanters, wood trim, exposed cathedral beams. . .and that's just the lounge. The outdoor space has no less then five "rooms" to sit and enjoy a beverage and a book. The backyard must have been designed by a professional, with hedges and stairs leading to a gated pool and separate spa. There is a monks table off the main family room which served us well for our meals. There's lots of elbow room from the neighbors so we felt like we were in our own oasis. The gated driveway is lined by tall Cypress trees that lead to the entrance.

We came with children and my 70 year old mother. It is important for those with older family to know that four of the sleeping rooms are up a long tiled flight of stairs. My mom didn't have a problem with it but if my father were with us they would have had to sleep in the downstairs room, a queen bed, shared bathroom. The master suite upstairs is lush and rich with a king bed, antique looking furnishings, large balcony, and private bathroom. The ceiling in the master has exposed beams on the part of the room, it's very beautiful. The other rooms had elegant bedding, sizable closets, the rooms themselves were not terribly large but perfect for the function of sleeping. The whole house feels both welcoming and very upscale. The furnishings really speak to the imagination of the owners and we relished in that. For all of my siblings we found a good vibe and our mood was positive the whole trip. We couldn't have asked for a better home to have our family reunited.

In a lovely way it seems the owners are still very much a part of the house. That level of care given to the house sets it apart from others. We've stayed at vacation rentals throughout California and this was the most remarkable. We will absolutely stay again.
