About the property

2 Bedrooms, 2 Queen Tempur-Pedic Beds, Sofa Bed, Queen Air Mattress

The Two-Bedroom Balcony Apartment is located just around the corner from the subway station, which is only a 1 minute walk away. From there, it takes only 10 minutes to reach Manhattan by subway.

The apartment is large in size, as it is about 850 square feet. There are modern furniture and fixtures throughout. There is also a private balcony. The apartment also comes with free wifi.

The spacious living room has a modern sectional sofa (not pictured, as we recently added the sectional -- new photos to come). There is also a smaller sofa (pictured) which turns into a daybed for one. There is also a classic Pierre Paulin lounge chair, modern walnut coffee table, and a set of ottomans. The large flat-screen television with satellite tv sits on a beautiful solid walnut media cabinet. There is also a George Nelson wall lamp and modern floor lamp in the living room.

The kitchen is equipped with all pots, pans, and utensils needed to cook a meal. The kitchen opens up to a dining room, which has a modern solid walnut dining table and chairs.

There is a full mid-century modern NYC style bathroom in this apartment.

The main bedroom is located at the rear of the townhouse, where the garden is located, ensuring a peaceful night. This bedroom has a queen size Tempur-Pedic bed, which sits atop a modern solid walnut Japanese style bed. There are also walnut side tables and two modern lamps.

The second bedroom is also located at the rear of the townhouse and has a queen Tempur-Pedic bed, which sits on a modern solid walnut bed and is accompanied by walnut side tables and modern lamps. There is a door in this bedroom that opens up to the private balcony, which is wonderful for catching sun and fresh air. It overlooks the garden. There are two chairs and a table on the balcony.

For the fifth and sixth guests, the sectional sofa converts into a queen size bed -- it splits into two pieces, and when facing the two pieces towards each other, they form a queen size bed. Alternatively, there is a queen size air mattress with memory foam top.

We have a pack 'n play (playard) for baby, available upon request.

Great location, great host, great property!

  • 5 of 5

The owners are easy to reach, and there were no issues with check-in. Having never stayed in Queens before, the proximity to 2 transit stations was perfect for bouncing back and forth to Manhattan. We didn't spend much time at the apartment, but the beds were extremely comfortable and the AC blows cold. 5/5 would stay here again !

Nice apartment and very good location

  • 4 of 5

Perfectly acceptable apartment. Beds are very good, and the sofas in the living room are great. The bathrooms is outdated but worked. Apartment was clean and Jessica was very helpful. Wonderful location, safe nice neighborhood with lot of good restaurants. The map with information about the neighborhood and services was excellent. Subway station is close and you can get to Manhattan in 15 minutes.

Convenient Queens Apartment

  • 3 of 5

This apartment is super convenient to NYC. just a block away from the Subway stop with a great bagel shop on the way. It is clean and comfortable, it can use some updating, especially in the bathroom.

The owner is super helpful and works hard to keep you happy. The owner did every thing she could to accommodate our need to leave our luggage at the apartment before we left for the airport.

I would not recommend this apartment if you have young children or if you can't stand the sound of people walking around above you. Depending on who is above you and what the neighbors are doing, it can be almost unbearably noisy. The owner tried to get the upstairs tenant to be quieter, but it only seemed to make them louder. I spent the entire week shushing my kids so we wouldn't be annoying to the people around us. There was a "police incident" one morning which could potentially be a reoccurring event, it might be nice to know this was a possibility before booking. It wasn't a huge deal, but unsettling for the kids, and a rough way to be awakened.

  • 5 of 5

Just the perfect place we needed, big enough for 5, close enough to subway to get to the city. Price was right.
