We came here for the ocean and peace and quiet, and the cottage was just what we needed. Three adults and two teenagers fitted perfectly.
Close to beach, quiet, large screened porch. Had two minor maintance issues that were promptly taken care of. Home layout best for families with older children, as 2nd & 3rd bedrooms across porch hallway. Nice for us as our older kids could sleep in.
Easy walking distance to lovely and private Middlesex Beath in south Bethany. Very pretty and quiet neighborhood.
The house is split into two sections; the master br is on one side with the kitchen and family area, and the other two bedrooms are in the other section divided by the screen porch. This isn't a problem but if you have younger children in those bedrooms you might want to have a monitor along because you can't hear them at night over the sound of the wall A/C units.
The kitchen is tiny but complete. The house is overall very comfortable. The bed and frame in the master could stand to be replaced. Very squeaky with every toss and turn.
Overall very good and reasonably priced rental. I'd go again.
