Perfect for entertaining, the living/dining area opens onto a 600 sq.ft. deck that is completely furnished including a new Weber gas bar-b-que. There are two bedrooms, each includes a flat screen with Xfinity cable connections. The master bath has a spa-like feel with a large soaking tub and oversized glass shower. The second bath is tiled with a frameless glass shower. An office is included in this unit and it is outfitted with a desk, chair and console.

This unit is one block from the Eastlake commercial area that includes coffee shops, restaurants and a park. It is a few blocks to the Fred Hutcheson Cancer Research Campus on Westlake. A 15 minute walk or quick trolley ride away from the South Lake Union area where Amazon, Group Health, The Gates Foundation, and many biotech companies are located. The trolley will also transport you to downtown Seattle to experience the waterfront, Pikes Place market, the Space Needle, Seattle Center or to wonder through museums and shops.
You would be located one block from a bus line and could make it to downtown Seattle going South and take a ten minute ride to UW going North. There are two parking spaces available to you I-5 access is only a few blocks away.
Your Seattle home has a residential feel as there is a private entry, no hallways or elevators to navigate. You are in walking distance to restaurants and Lake Union and only minutes away by car or public transportation to all Seattle landmarks. What a great place, this was out first stay booking with VRBO, and we can only hope the rest of our booking will be as wonderful an experience as this one was! The condo is very nicely appointed, supplied with everything we could have asked for. We enjoyed several of the recommended local restaurants within walking distance. We also enjoyed exploring the houseboat city at the bottom of the hill on Lake Union. We only wish that we had more time, a few days really isn't enough, so we will just have to plan a return trip. The balcony was a wonderful place to unwind after our time exploring the city. The downtown view can't be beat!
This trip was my second time staying at this home, and I will continue to request this property whenever I come to Seattle. Although downtown is a bit of a distance, it is a nice easy walk, approx 20 mins, or a $10 cab/Uber ride. Staying at this residence was such remarkable experience; the pictures do not do it justice. The patio is huge with a portion that is covered, the kitchen is truly a chef's delight, the master bedroom/bathroom is incredible...Why stay at a hotel? We can not say enough about this property whether it's sharing with another couple or a girl's weekend away. There is so much room to relax in the living room or just hang outside on the deck. Coordinating our stay with the owner was easy, friendly and enjoyable. She was always available to us if needed and very accomodating. We look forward to our next stay here!
We stayed here while picking up our son from the University of Washington. I echo the other reviews - this is a wonderful place to stay in Seattle - breathtaking views, beautiful furnishings, perfectly clean, friendly hosts, excellent location to everything, though on a very quiet street. We particularly enjoyed walking to several great restaurants and coffee shops - there was also a grocery within walking distance. It was a quick hop to our son's dorm at the UW. The parking space was a definite plus - though our son used the bus stop very nearby. We look forward to staying here again!
the pictures of this place is not enough to show you how truly its . the place is amazing really amazing . close by to everything . it took us 5 min to reach anywhere we want to reach , 10 min to the space needle . Kathy was amazing landlord she was very welcoming and very helpful . we managed to lock our self outside the flat and her hubby came to our rescue with a smile on his face . the place was spotless and smells good .it felt like you are in your home . it was so cozy in a good way not in a way thats its small. i would go back to this place in a heartbeat for sure .

Our family of five enjoyed a wonderful stay at Kathy’s condo. We were thrilled with the accommodations from the minute we walked in and saw the fantastic view of the Seattle skyline. The large windows and huge balcony were perfect for viewing the Space Needle into the night. The two bedroom/ two bath condo provided ample space for our family during our week in Seattle. The modern kitchen was also a major plus. The location was terrific with easy access to I 5 and walking distance to several restaurants. We also appreciated the available parking space after our many Seattle adventures. We would definitely recommend Kathy’s condo and hope to return in the future!
What an incredible place to stay! Everything was exactly as advertised. Very clean. Close to everything yet the patio was a great place to stay in and enjoy the view. Highly recommend this unit. Kathy was extremely helpful with everything. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We even had beautiful sunny weather! We walked to several of the restaurants nearby (loved the flank steak at Little Water Cantina) and also the houseboats and lake. We'll definitely do it again.
