We stayed in f100 in October of 2016. We booked our trip at the last minute so there was not a lot to choose from in North Coast Village. The last minute discount was great! The location of this unit is super. It's very close to the pool and hot tub and not too far from the beach. About a 2 min walk to the pool / hot tub and a 5-7 min walk to the beach.
F100 itself is just an ok unit. It was clean...BUT it could use some major updating and TLC. The linens are VERY worn out and the unit itself is pretty dated. Some new bath towels, sheets, and bedding would really jazz the place up. There are no ceiling fans in this unit so some NEW floor fans or pedestal fans would be great. One fan for each room would be very nice. (They did have 2 pedestal fans but they were very old and didn't give us much air - the fan in the master bedroom was really gross - it was rusty, dusty, and it didn't work well at all - it was at least 20 years old). Check in for this unit is between 3-5pm and if you check in after 5pm they charge you a $25 fee which I think is just silly.
Overall I feel that that the best thing about this unit is the location. If they would just update this unit a little bit and make some fresh changes, (especially getting new bedding, bath towels and fans) I feel that they could charge more money per night in rent. As of right now I would not rent this unit again, but if they made some changes to freshen it up, I would stay again because of the location.
North Coast Village itself is a great condominium complex right on the beach!!! The grounds are full of coy ponds, palm trees and waterfalls. It's georgeous!!
Pros and cons of F100:
Easy check in
Close to the pool & hot tub
Close parking (very easy to unload car)
Private underground assigned parking spot
5-6 min walk to the beach
2 min walk to pool
Comfy leather couch in the living room
Cable (Tvs in all the rooms)
Professional waffle maker
Unit feels very dated
Bath towels, bedding, sheets and pillow cases are old and worn
Wifi is NOT free - it's a daily charge
No air conditioning
No ceiling fans
$25 fee if you check in after 5pm
No washer or dryer in this unit. (There is a coin laundry faculty on the premises)
No beach towels or beach chairs in this unit
No boogie boards or sand toys in this unit
No beach umbrella in this unit
Vending machine by the pool was broken. Sodas were warm

North coast village itself is a wonderful community. The grounds are full of waterfalls, coy ponds, Palm Trees and there is even a putting green. It's a beautiful community right on the beach!

Stayed in this condo with my family for five nights and we all wish we could just stay a few days longer. North Coast Village is so beautiful. Truly tropical atmosphere and very relaxing. The best tropical landscaping I’ve ever seen. Perfect place to relax with your family or friends. Very convenient since everything you need is near by. You can see the pool and some ocean from the balcony. Beach is beautiful; pool and Jacuzzi are very clean and well maintained. We spent 4 to 6 hours on the beach every day and the rest of the time in the pool & Jacuzzi. My kids had so much fun at the game room playing pool and ping pong. This place was very clean, well maintained and people are super friendly and nice. Property manager is awesome. She is very professional and personable at the same time. Just a true pleasure to work with. I already recommended this property to some of my coworkers, friends and family members. Can’t wait to return!!!
I spent 12 days with my 7 year old twins and we had the most wonderful time you can imagine. We found the apartment exactly as described in the listing. A clean and very cozy place to stay with nice gardenview and (a little :-)) oceanview. We used the barbecue place a lot and we had a lot of fun in the pool and in the hot tub and the beach (great for children!!!!! moderate waves, smooth and lifeguards on duty) is right in front of your door, you don*t even have to cross a road. Everything is well maintained and very child friendly and Seworld (a must!!!!) and San Diego Zoo (another must!!!) are just 45 minutes away. Especially if you have kids: come here, you won't regrett it. We will be back next summer!!!! A special thanks to Cindy for the great service!
