The Thunderbird Lodge upper level provides 3 bedrooms with 2 king beds and 1 queen. Each bedroom has a private full bathroom, and flat screen television. Kitchen is fully equipped to prepare, cook, and serve meals. A balcony over looks Mountain Fork River with mountain bluffs on each side. The deck overlooking the river has seating for 10 and a gas grill
Trout fish right out the front door. Oklahoma fish and wildlife release trout in the stream directly in front of this lodge every 2 weeks.
The bottom level of Thunderbird is a 2 bedroom 1 bath that is completely separate from the upper level. It has its own kitchen, dining, living area with a beautiful view of Mountain Fork River. Units can be rented separately in our off season.
The lower level of the Thunderbird Lodge provides 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining, and living area.
The first bedroom has 2 extra long twin beds that can make into a King. The second bedroom has 2 regular size twin beds.

Out doors you will find a fishing pier, 2 fire pits, grills, access to the David Boren hiking trail, and Mountain Fork River.
The Thunderbird Lodge is very secluded, but within a 10 minute drive of restaurants, shopping, groceries, Girls Gone Wine Winery, and the many activities our area has to offer.
The Lodge can be rented as a 3 bedroom, a 2 bedroom, or a 5 bedroom.
The view is beautiful. However it's a treacherous 1.3 mile drive to the cabin. There is no inside the house connection to the downstairs 2 bed/1 bath. The only way to access is outside. The dishwasher does not clean the dishes well at all. Overall cabin is overpriced.
The Thunderbird Lodge is located on the edge of Mountain Fork River in Beavers Bend State Park. Girls Gone Wine Winery is only a 3 mile drive. Our guests can access Broken Bow Lake in just a short 3-4 miles, and rent boats, & jet ski's from Beavers Bend Marina. Beavers Bend State Park offers beautiful hiking trails, access to Mountain Fork River, Nature Center, Forest Heritage Museum, Beavers Bend Depot Train Ride and Horseback Riding, Putt Putt Golf, Canoeing, Kayaking, and much more.
