My family and I went for my birthday and loved the cabin! My niece and nephews loved the game room and personally, I loved looking outside to see animals and enjoy the peace and quiet. I had stayed in other cabins previously, and I liked this one more because it wasn't right on top of another cabin. The other area we had stayed in before had some rowdy neighbors. We had a blast and enjoyed it - even without cell signal! Made for a great weekend away.
We really enjoyed our long holiday weekend visit. The property was just what we expected/needed. Very quiet, secluded property. There isn't really a view to look at at the cabin, but the drive up the mountain offers some beautiful views. It's quite a drive to get supplies so it's a good idea to make sure you have what you need before going "home" each day.
It was clean and the perfect size that we needed to accommodate our family.
My family and I have very busy lives. Haley's hideaway is the perfect place to get away and fall in love with nature. You're in the middle of the mountains with gorgeous views and pathways to spend time with your family or just by yourself. The cabin is everything it promises to be.
This was our babies first family vacation with my brothers, and mine and my husbands moms. There were 7 adults and we had the baby. The cabin was just as beautiful in person as it is in pictures. As we got closer to arrival j was skeptical due to me not being able to find recent reviews and the price, but it was perfect!
The reviews we read about the driveway were definitely true ( bottoming out) but we all just parked up top and it was no big deal.
We can't wait to go back to Tenneesee, and the only reason we would possibly choose another cabin would be to be closer to water for fishing. Overall we loved our stay!
I stayed here with some girlfriends for a rafting trip. We really enjoyed ourselves. The drive to the cabin was a bit scary and no one had service. Not having technology kept us focused on each other instead of our phones. I would suggest updating the covers on the beds. The Island in Pigeon Forge is not far away and I would suggest visiting. There are also some roller coaster rides nearby that we wanted to try out but time didn't permit. Overall, it was a nice getaway.
We loved the cabin as a place to stay but it was lacking in a few areas. The first problem we had was the door (getting in). It took us about 10 tries to get the code to work because the lock was sticking. And being in the middle of nowhere our phones did not work to call anyone for help. Upon entering and turning on the lights, roaches scattered everywhere in the kitchen. We also had the same issues with the air as the last reviewers, each floor had its own temperature and the air does not reach the third floor at all, so it was very cold for those on the bottom two levels (with no extra blankets to be found) while the third floor was still quite warm. In addition to having no extra blankets anywhere, there were also no linens provided for the trundle bed. The floor on the main level has weak spots in it from previous water damage. The main level shower also leaks down into the game room. We had to place a bowl downstairs to catch the water to keep it off the floor. The satellite dish would not connect the whole weekend we were there either. Also the pictures of the front of the cabin (showing the driveway) do not show you that it is a straight down hill to get to the "flat" parking area.
The roads getting to this cabin are also extremely curvy, this is not a staying issue but should be made more apparent to those wishing to stay with you.
Overall we were only using this cabin as a crash pad and it worked well for that, but there were issues with the cabin that do need to be addressed by the owners.
