Had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful setting, close to town, very clean and well stocked. Maggie was our contact and she was amazing to deal with and very helpful. The deer were plentiful, can't wait to come back.
The cabin is cozy and the location beautiful. However, the owner is very hard to get in touch with if there is a problem. Unfortunately, the kitchen water stopped working and we couldn't get in touch with the owner to get the problem resolved even though voicemail was left for him.
Great cabin! End of the road with space to roam and play. Traveled with a 4 and 6 year old and they had a blast. Could use a few updates on towels and shower curtain but everything was clean and tidy.
This cabin has everything you need. Well equipped with personal items such as game boards and books. The kitchen has all the features and the bathroom has everything. On the down side I would say that the mattresses need renovation, they are NOT comfortable, and the bedrooms are cold, even when the rest of the cabin is nicely warm. I strongly recommend to carry tire chains if you're going on winter, because we had to buy them in Ruidoso and they're expensive. Deers visit the cabins everyday. SoOverall beautiful and cozy. Love it!!
The cabin was rustic, as described. The only issue we had was the air quality in the cabin was not good. We are not smokers and the linger of previous smokers made it hard for us to breath. Unfortunately, we could only stay 2 nights.
The cabin was rustic and simple. That is what we wanted. It was clean, except for the lingering smoke odor. In fact, we had to leave a day early because of breathing issues caused by smoke in the walls
