Daytona's well deserved title of 'World's Most Famous Beach' can only be fully appreciated when experienced sunrise to sunset. Each day begins with a stunning sunrise. Whether you walk, run or drive there is nothing quite like the expansive white powder sand beach of Daytona. While the city still sleeps, the beach is entirely yours.
The 'Entertainment Zone' encompasses Ocean Center, Main Street, Seabreeze and Ocean Walk. This zone includes Daytona's beachside waterpark which is literally across from the beach. The Pier, boardwalk with its ferris wheel and summer fireworks is a beautiful site. While everyone else is worrying about taking cabs, driving and parking, you'll never have to get in a car to visit any of these places. La Margherita is conveniently located on the edge of the zone, so you'll sleep or relax in peace but be in the heart of it when you want to be.
Undiscovered Daytona: Daytona has some of the best fishing in the world. Kayaking and SUP (stand up paddleboarding) on the river is very popular and an inexpensive getaway for a family or couple. Low tide at the Inlet is especially fun with children and couples alike hopping between sandbars on rafts and tubes. The high dunes here are protected through the national park and are very photographic. Picnic on the beach or in the rear of La Margherita. Over the Causeway, seeing a Daytona Cubs spring training game at 'The Jack' (Jackie Robinson Stadium) is a great summer nostalgic outing. Touring Daytona 500 is a popular attraction as is travelling down Rt. 1, the old highway to Miami. The house is 45 minutes south of historic St. Augustine, passing the very popular Flagler beach on your way.
Regardless of your interests, there are many opportunities to play, relax, sport and experience new adventures on your vacation to Daytona.
You will definitely feel honor to stay in this beautiful house. Very roomy, very comfortable beds and a kitchen to die for. The neighborhood is quiet but yet close to the beach. Kelly responded to all emails right away. We would definitely stay again.
The house design is perfect for a few couples or for the single family. This house separates the parents from the kids. Very private and quiet. The location was perfect for my biketoberfest group that wanted to leave the motorcycles at the house and still be able to walk to the Main Street action. Local restaurants, the beach, and night life were within a 5 minute walk. Felt like a very safe neighborhood. The kitchen is fully decked out. High end appliances, plenty of counter space and dining surfaces. Room sizes were perfect with ample space. The only thing that would make this an ideal house would be a pool or hot tub. I would've paid more for these. Just saying. Kelly, the owner, was very fast with responses, answered all of my questions, and was extremely easy to work with. I will definitely rent this place away. Don't hesitate on renting this house because I will beat you to the draw!!!
The Margarita house is just like the pictures if not better! The bedrooms are big and master is huge with an amazing walk in closet and balcony! The house has everything you need to cook, grill or go to the beach, from towels to coolers to chairs etc. Great specious bathrooms and lots of natural light! The fire pit is awesome to burn at night and relax! KELLY the owner is awesome, accommodating and replies to emails, texts or phone calls fast! I went there for a girls trip with my mom and her best friend and her daughters and a 3 year old, it fit every age group, from movies, games for the kids to magazines, books etc for older crowd. Overall a great, great house to rent for a family vacation or group of friends to get away. All stores all walking distance and car is not even needed! Beach only 3 blocks away!!!!
We had a great stay at Margherita! The place was large enough to fit our group comfortably, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. The house is just a few blocks from the beach, and less than a mile from the boardwalk and Ocean Walk shops. Kelly was prompt in answering questions, and provided a great list of recommended restaurants/things to do.
La Margherita is a great place to stay while in Daytona Beach. It is a short 10-15 minute walk to downtown, which is nice when you want to experience Daytona and not have to drive or find a place to park. The house was perfect. Spacious, great kitchen, very nice rooms with all the amenities of your own home. The home obviously has history and one can only think of the many people who were entertained in the kitchen/dining area. The grounds are well kept and would be perfect for outdoor living. The master bedroom is spacious with a great shower and TV. Kelly was easy to work with and allowed us a shorter than usual stay. Our damage deposit was refunded within a couple of days our departure, which was very much appreciated.
We are hoping to come back and spend more time in Daytona Beach and at La Margherita!
We very much enjoyed out stay. The house is really funky, great old Florida, but has been updated recently to keep modern amenities. The kitchen is of note, its got top of the line stuff and is a real pleasure for those who like to cook. This is a well located property with a ton of charm.
