Another great time at the Moyie River cabin........
This was our third time at the cabin and once again it was great. Accommodations were outstanding as usual and Steve was a gracious host. This is an gorgeous location with small lakes for fishing nearby. We look forward to our next visit.
Amazing vacation with the family
Stayed for week last week of august 2017. Great place, great views, amazing memories. Steve was a great host and left maps and notes on every question we had. Cabin was awesome and very clean amd the river setting is amazing. We will go again for sure.
Fantastic Place to Stay
We loved staying here. Peaceful, beautiful and the nicest owners!
Great time on the Moyie River
Great views from every area of house. Plenty of deer and hundreds of hummingbirds. Tried fly fishing for 1st time. Was fun but no luck. Fish were jumping just not biting. Water was nice and cold, so ws sat and drank some great Kokanee beer. Steve and Diana made us feel at home. Steve even made my wife some flys to try for fishing. Plenty to explore nearby. Fiesta Creek Restraunt just ip the road had great food. You can even feed the giant rainbow trout.
A peaceful get away!!
Very well appointed, everything an accomplished cook could want in a very relaxing setting!!
After selling our home, and a home purchase falling through, my husband and I were basically homeless with 2 weeks to pack, move and decide where to land. We took a chance on Bonners Ferry and have NEVER looked back. Our extended stay at this beautiful, welcoming home was one of those chance circumstances that provided not only a lifeline, a place to relax, but a new hometown as well! The owners are extremely friendly, accommodating, and a wealth of local knowledge. The home is very comfortable, filled with natural light, and well equipped (TV/Dish, W/D, and internet service - a premium around the area!). The deck, located on the back of the house, has an amazing view of the river (basically right at your feet)! We were lucky enough to arrive in winter (to enjoy the snow and woodstove), and experience spring blooming around us (hummingbirds providing hours of entertainment). We have seen golden eagles, bald eagles, moose (right at the deck railing), elk, deer, fox, and tons of wild turkeys! We cannot say enough about our experience...thanks so much to Steve and Diana!!!
Great whitewater rafting, fly fishing, hiking, huckleberry picking, big game hunting, birdwatching, photography, Banff Canada is only 5 hours away. Many hiking trails in the area. The cabin has high speed internet and satellite flat screen TV.
