About Owner
My name is Pam and I am the owner of Happy Days. I am also a real estate agent with Nothnagle. When I'm not working, I enjoy drawing & painting, jewelry making, hiking, boating, reading and spending time with my family and friends.
Owner purchased this Cottage in 1995
Why Owner chose Honeoye
I grew up in Honeoye and my family has been in this area for generations. We bought Happy Days in 1995 and raised 3 children here. Honeoye Lake is beautiful in Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. I love waking up to the sound of song birds and waves on the shore. The air is fresh here and the people are friendly.
What makes this Cottage unique
Happy Days has a boat dock and a little pebble beach for kids. Comfy chairs and picnic table are right by the shore. It's fun to make a camp fire and roast marshmallows at night. The town of Honeoye is about 4 miles to the north - for shopping, restaurants and playground (Sandy Bottom Beach). There are free concerts at the town gazebo on Friday nights in the Summer. The town of Naples is about 10 miles to the south. Naples has a wonderful farm market (Josephs), a beautiful hiking trail (Grimes Glen), Hazlitt Winery and lots of shops and restaurants. You can be busy every day or completely relax at Happy Days.

Happy Days is the place to be!
After a cottage that we rented several times was sold, we needed to find a new place for our vacation. We are so glad we picked Happy Days! We brought our boat and kayak with us for the trip. The cottage is clean and spacious and jam packed with everything we could possibly need for our stay. You really do feel like you're on a boathouse with the amazing view from the living room. The owner is so accommodating and extremely helpful. The end of the lake is calm and peaceful and the resident swan was a joy to see every morning we woke up. The neighbor was also very helpful and full of useful information. We did venture away from the cottage one day to Grimes Glen, Joseph's Market, a winery, ice cream shop and Harriet Hollister Spencer Park (what a georgeous view of the entire lake). The rest of the week we stayed at the cottage to unwind from the craziness of everyday life. Fishing, sunbathing and kayaking was so relaxing on this special lake. Exactly what we needed. Needless to say, we truly loved Happy Days and definitely plan on returning. Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot for us to enjoy.
Nice place to sit back and relax
Nice place to sit back and relax.... this rustic old house has all the features that you will need. The fishing was good, the neighbors and rentals were great. The only reason I did not give a five star rental was The difficulty with the boat in the driveway and the stairs for my 81-year-old mother in law
Beyond expectations
The pictures do not do this home justice. It is very large and comfortable and nicely decorated. Owner extremely accomodating. Pets welcome but you would never know any visited there. Family of four had more than enough room. Lots of beautiful nature site seeing in the area.
Labor Day Weekend 2010
In one word, RELAXING! My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend at the cottage with our family and had a wonderful time. The lake house is clean, quiet, comfortable and a little bit of heaven right here on Honeoye Lake. We loved everything from boating and fishing to watching the sun come up over the hills, while sipping coffee in the mornings. I even caught a two foot pike by just casting of the dock. This is a must have location to rent if you are looking for a relaxing cottage in the middle of the Finger Lakes.
Great place to stay!
I have been staying here for 3 years. The location is great and the owner is very helpful and nice. The cottage is clean and in good shape. I would highly recommend this for a family trip. The fishing is very good in Honeyoe lake. I will return this year for at least one week.
Location
Beautiful year round! Available for week-ends, weekly or monthly rentals in winter months. Great location for lots of winter activities like downhill skiing (Bristol Mtn or Hunt Hollow), cross country skiing (Bristol Mtn or Harriett Hollister Spencer Park), snow mobiling (large local trail system) or staying inside with a book looking out at nature's splendor!
