Bill Carico, agent for this property. purchased this estate in 2010
This place is fabulous, and so is the community and neighbors. Concord VA is a small town that is close to the action, and we wanted a place that our own family can enjoy as well as our valued guests.
The spacious setting, landscaping, and beauty of the estate make it a wonderful place to live and entertain guests.
Bill and Patti -
I'm just dropping a note to tell you how much we enjoyed our visit over the weekend. The house was everything we could have asked for. Everything was just lovely and getting to stay with family made it that much more special. Also, the rehearsal dinner was great and I appreciate all of your hard work. Thank you so much for everything, and Bill my allergies are ever so much better since I took your advice and went off dairy. Thanks :)
God bless you both and I hope to see you in the future again.
What an amazing find this place was! Perfect distance from town and so much space for everyone!! The beds were very comfortable and they provided everything you could think of! The grounds were just gorgeous - there is much love put into taking care of this place - both inside and out! It was too cool to use the pool as we had expected but the owners had taken off the cover to add to the ambiance of morning coffee on the deck and late night chats! My dad left his shoes there and the owner took the time to send them back which was much appreciated! Thanks for an incredible stay!!
We stayed here for our (5th) annual "Christmas in Virginia (in January)" trip. My daughter & her family meet us (both families) in Virginia to celebrate Christmas. It is a great way to have the grandparents, parents, & kids share some time together in a family setting. The pictures on the website couldn't do it justice. The place was beautiful! It was a large and cozy home with many places to gather or find quiet time. There were no bad bedrooms. Even the smallest room was cozy; my granddaughter loved it. The house is located on a main road and there were stores and towns nearby. The only issue we had was there was only one television. "Sharing" was a problem. It was a fully furnished home. Bill even kept out Christmas decorations for our gathering. I highly recommend it. We will definitely stay again.
We so enjoyed our stay at the Concord Manor House. We had a big family gathering for Thanksgiving. It was wonderful to spread out which the lovely 7 bedrooms allowed us to do. Lots of room for eating & congregating too, especially for the different age groups. Plus it's in a lovely area with lots to see & do. Would love to go back! Best stocked kitchen we've ever experienced in a rental/timeshare.
A wonderful sanctuary for family and friends in town for a wedding. We had bridesmaids, small children and couples. Plenty of extra bedding, cribs, linens for our full house. Kitchen is well stocked and grocery store is nearby. It allowed us to visit and catch up in between wedding responsibilities. Having washer and dryer, ironing board and iron was super. Concord Manor is a beauty, but a fully functional home. Thanks Patty and Bill for Concord Manor, it is a gem!
We love this house.. This is the second time that I have brought our volleyball team here for a team bonding trip. The house easily accommodates 20 people and we had such a relaxing time there for three days. The pool is great and the owners are very helpful. We left a wallet there and he sent it to us that day. I can't say enough good things about our experience...
Concord Manor far exceeded our family's expectations. With thirteen of us from ages one and a half to 72, three generations enjoyed this home and the area! Seven bedrooms and four bathrooms were more than adequate. The pool was sensational for day and night swims. The kitchen was stocked with every cooking utensil. We held a family cooking contest, cupcake decorating contest and a Minute to Win It competition. One living room with the tv was for noise and toys. With five grandchildren it was perfect. The other living room was for quiet reading and finishing the jigsaw puzzle. Patti and Bill, the owners, welcomed us all and responded quickly to questions we had before our arrival. We enjoyed many family activities in Lynchburg, Appomattox, Charlottesville and Bedford.
