Great location and property for a family

  • 4 of 5

We had a great experience here. The house had everything we needed and the location could not be better! What we liked most was that there was a great deal of space. Plenty of room for all of us. The only negative is that the house is very dark, even during the day. That would be ok since we were out most of the day, but the lighting at night is very poor as well. I would suggest stronger bulbs and more lamps. Even with this, we would still rent this home again.

Two families had a great time!

  • 5 of 5

5 bedrooms made it easy for our two families to spend a week together. Wonderful neighborhood and vicinity to so many fun things to do!

One suggestion would be to provide washclothes or tell people ahead of time that you don't provide them. We had a hard time finding any in town!

Great value house for a multi-family weekend in the snow!

  • 4 of 5

This house provided a great place for a couple families to share a long weekend in the snow. Super close to both the lake, and Diamond Peak ski resort! The kitchen was adequate for us to cook meals and there was plenty of seating for all of us to eat together. The main room TV is nice and we enjoyed watching the Warriors dominate. There was a nice fenced yard area for the kids to play as well as a dog run. Being dog friendly was really nice as well.

If we had any complaints, it was that the layout is a bit ackward. To get to the "master bedroom" you need to walk thru the downstairs "jack and Jill" bathroom. Also, the linens were a bit dated. But again, the price was very reasonable for the space, so great overall value. If we have another weekend with this group, we'd certainly consider this house!

Property Managers need to step up their game for a house in a great location

  • 4 of 5

We rented this house for a family get together. We rented it for 12 people for a week. The first impression was it was dated. No biggy, but when we walked in there were stains on all the carpets, and cobwebs on the TV's. When we went to use the small appliances they were in need of a good scrubbing. Along with that we were given 10 bath towels and 4 wash rags, come on there were 12 of us there for a week. We ran out of trash bags on the second day there. This is the 3rd house I have rented from VRBO and I have always been very pleased before, but this is the first time I used a property management company. We also rented a condo at the same time in Incline Village from an owner and we did not have any issues there. I hope the owners read this and discuss the service provided by the management company. For the cost of the cleaning bill the house should be cleaner and should provide trash bags and 12 towels.

That being said the house is in an awesome location. We walked and jogged the walking path daily and we walked to the store.

The extra frig in the garage was a life saver for our large family and the horse shoes in the back were a wonderful way to end the day. The house provided the room we needed to gather and play cards and visit. For that I am grateful.
