Located halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier Parks in a historical mining town. There are many things to see and enjoy in the area, you may see wildlife at any time! The scenery is awesome with lakes and trees, creeks and mountains surrounding our town - you just have to see it to believe it. We are here all year long, so you'll have accommodations in the winter for skiing as well as during the summer when you can take in many of our annual events, such as the Flint Creek Valley Days, and live theater.
Located just 20 minutes away from Discovery Ski Resort, R House Inn is a great time and money saver for the whole family.
In the summer we have live theater and many town celebrations. In the winter we are only 20 minutes away from a great ski area - Discovery. In town there is an ice skating rink. Open all year is the Sweet Palace, a huge candy store. Wonderful eateries and a new brewery.
The house worked out great for 2 families with kids. Wonderful to have it in a central location. Thanks for the stay!
We enjoyed our great little house in P-burg-truly peaceful-super clean. The owners were great in every detail-we will be back!!!
There was a lot of room for our family of 5 and our dog Rowdy felt at home, the kitchen was easy to work in and the whole house was spacious and lovely.
The home was clean and quiet. Ronnie the hostess was very helpful and accommodating. The town is charming and we would love to come back and stay longer!
My best friend and I stayed here with our 5 boys! It was very clean, comfy and roomy! The stuff provided for us made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable! We ate out a few times but also brought food back to the place to cook. It was so close to the main street we could have easily walked there, which was so nice. We all slept great! The inclosed patio out front was nice, even though we never got to use it we were busy exploring the town. We checked out the stars from the back area and they were absolutely amazing! My friends boys had never seen stars like that before and they were in awe! We went searching for sapphires in town at one of the shops and had a great day doing that with the boys! The people in Philipsburg were so friendly and kind, loved everyone we met that shared so much kindness to us tourists! I would definitely come back and stay here again if we ever get to make it back to Philipsburg! Thank you for your cute little place to stay at, we had a wonderful time!
We only stayed for 2 nights but the house was more than adaquate. It was exceptionally clean! The town of Philipsburg is amazingly cute and quait with lots of interesting little shops to explore and some very good places to eat. We took the kids gem mining which they loved and then had a few drinks at the Philipsburg Brewery which was awesome. The Sweet Palace candy store was a huge hit with my 5 year old! My only complaint was the WiFi signal wasn't strong enough which wasn't a huge deal because we were really trying to stay unplugged on our vacation anyway. It would have been nice if there was a washer and dryer but overall it was a great stay.
