My husband and I have 3 children from 32-19. I was born in St. Augustine and love the area and always find something new to see. We currently live in Jacksonville. We love to jump on our bikes and ride downtown to historic St. Augustine, stopping at all the bistros and listening to local musicians. We hope you will love it as we do:) Lisa
Lisa Francis purchased this house in 2012
After searching for over a year we knew this house was the one as soon as we saw it. Being close to the beach, with a large pool and the house is family and pet friendly. Its open large kitchen gives room for everyone to be in there but not in each others way. We also wanted to provide a game room and outside shower house for when our guest come back from the beach for the kids to rinse off and have a place to have fun. We had a vision to turn this home into a beach oasis and I feel we have accomplished it and now want to share it with our guest.
It is also our personal home that we share and just ask for everyone to respect it:)Lisa
Its a lovely home you and your family will make wonderful memories, going to the beach, exploring the area, and eating at some of the best restaurants around. While also learning some amazing history and having beautiful scenery to take pictures of. Some guest just love being at the house, enjoying the pool, while grilling out on a beautiful sunny day.
From the moment we drove up into the driveway we knew this was going to be not your regular run of the mill VRBO rental. The creativeness and the cool beachy decor was amazing and has so much to offer from the wonderful location to the beautifully landscaped yard. This house was perfect for our family and our pet daucshund who loved running around in the privacy fenced in large backyard, with a beautiful pool. We were close to the beach and a lot of great restaurants, that we took full advantage of. We would recommend this house to anyone who likes a step above the normal. We like working with owners rather management teams, and Lisa was easy, funny and willing to go over the call of duty, she is only a phone call away. Don't hesitate to rent this home!
The house and property were beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice! My family and I, including our dog loved every minute of our stay at this fabulous house. The house and yard were immaculate. The neighborhood is quiet. The pool was amazing. Lisa was a pleasure to work with. She was prompt and courteous when addressing any of our questions. I would recommend this home without hesitation. Next time we visit St. Augustine we will be contacting Lisa. Thank you for everything!
My family of four humans and three little fur babies just spent a week here. It was our first time visiting Saint Augustine (we try to visit somewhere new every year) and we loved the character of the old city, the wide, sandy white beaches, and the vibe of this perfect little beach house. My 17 year old son, who is not easily impressed, said this was the best beach house we'd ever stayed in, so there ya go! Having a fenced yard with a pool was a huge bonus too. The doggies had the best time exploring the yard and chasing lizards while the rest of us enjoyed the pool. Great vacation! :)
This home had everything! Pool, game room, fun decor, nice landscaping, outdoor seating, bikes, etc. This was our first week long vacation and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay.
Simply one word is needed - OUTSTANDING. I can certainly use words like awesome, amazing and great, but to keep it simply, this place was exceptional. The property was well kept, very clean and a spacious kitchen settled in a quiet neighborhood. FIVE stars without a doubt.
Really not sure what to add that other reviews have not spoken about, everything was great, well except the weather. But with all this house had to offer, everyone in our family, including our shepherd who watch lizards and squirrels most of the time while out in the fenced in yard, had a great time. Will return next summer, and will keep our fingers crossed for better weather. Hope to see more sights next year.
Thanks Lisa and Steve, for sharing your home with us.
This house is so inviting and cozy. The decorations, the pool, the location, the bath house, the game room, the bed......I could go on! Lisa is a fabulous hostess. We didn't want our vacation to end. We love this house so much! Thank you Lisa, and we hope to return next year!
