We bought this home as a getaway for our large extended family and fell in love with it. There are endless nearby recreational activities, and it is less than 50 minutes away from Salt Lake City. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
Terry purchased this lodge in 2012

Our family of six adults enjoyed a full week in this house and could not have been more pleased with our vacation. The house is extremely well-equipped and well-maintained. The owners are the most conscientious we have ever encountered. Everything worked and the view from the deck with the bird feeders and arrival of sandhill cranes lent itself to relaxing hours of drawing and playing music. The location is wonderfully rural, but is close to grocery stores and gas, and our mountain bikers found it close enough to Park City. Hikes and scenery to the east in the National Forest were terrific. Although there were a couple of warm days, the mutiple ceiling fans and other box fans strategically placed kept us comfortable, plus the downstairs room was always very cool. Nights cooled off fantastically!! I hope we can return one day. What a place!!
This was a wonderful cabin we cannot wait to stay there again we had such a great time it fit us all comfortably and the view was beautiful loved snowmobiling up here, our friends had a great time also we hardly wanted to leave, it was so much fun, we cooked there most the time we only ate out once. And that was my husband and I we had went to breakfast one morning, at a little biscuit place it was really good, Terry was wonderful to work with us and meet him, really nice guy. Thanks we will be back, maybe do a summer trip too..
This mountain cabin is really in a ranch like rural setting. It is so tranquil and such beautiful place. My brother came from DC and nephews from LA and my son from TX and we got a chance to be together and ski and mostly get away from hectic city life and stress at this sturdy cabin. This gave us a chance to enjoy wide open spaces and see wildlife like eagles, moose, deer and some really cute wild kittens. It was just natures abundant beauty everywhere. The house has 3 levels and each offers a deck with a view in every direction. The bedrooms were good size and the beds very comfy. I was pleased for our gatherings that we had plenty of room. We skied and after a long cold day very happy to get back and relax at night. We hung out for a couple days and did nothing but take in nature. The kitchen had all the proper amenities for making a meal and the restaurant in town is really delicious which we recommend. There are two big TV's with plenty of channels and a nice collection of books in the library for restful reading. There is WiFi to check in with office email. I appreciated how spotless everything was and the place is in very good condition. Terry the owner aims to please and was delighted to share all the great features of his mountain retreat and the area sights. Our family vacation was a success and ...we will see you again.
Our Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay team was able to spend a few hours resting in this beautiful cabin. I was amazed at how large and open the home was. The rooms are good sized. The 4 bathrooms are more than enough for everyone to share. The open kitchen/dining/family room was lovely. It is so quiet and peaceful with great views from every deck, perfect for star gazing. The home is very well taken care of and very well furnished. The home owners are delightful. I will definitely be returning and would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away without being too far removed from local attractions.
Calling it a cabin was a little misleading. We went to crash there during our break from the Ragnar Relay. I was surprised by how nice and clean the place was. Really comfortable getaway. Great scenic views. It is a steal of a deal for how nice the place is. It also has great access to some really awesome places. I would highly recommend staying here!
It was perfect for what my group needed. We had a large group up there, but there were several beds and couches for everyone to sleep comfortably. You really feel that you are out in the middle of nowhere, but Park City is only 20 minutes away and Kamas is only 10 minutes, so you can get out and go to a restaurant or movie.
There are several hikes within walking distance from the front door. Jordanelle is also really close so you can spend the day boating and then come back to a real shower/bathroom. This place is awesome.
