Awsome Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

This was a spectacular home and location for quick boating access to both the Gulf and Atlantic. The property was secluded enough for privacy, but close enough to all the Middle and Lower Keys attractions, restaurants, and shopping.

My family and I will definitely be looking at this property for future rentals and memorable vacations.

Thank you,

Spacious and comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of eight, 4 couples, and the Blue Heron was the perfect vacation home for us. Plenty of room so we weren't bumping into each other whether cooking, eating, or socializing. It was great to have a separate bathroom for each bedroom, so much more private for each couple! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking dinners. The pool was awesome both for those who like swimming in the deep and for those who stayed in the shallows. And the view is awesome!! We have other couples who want to vacation with us at the Blue Heron next year after hearing about our experience, so next year we hope to stay for 2 weeks with rotating family and friends!!

Perfect Isolation

  • 5 of 5

We had a very large group going for this trip. It was two families with kids ranging in age from 3 to 17. Both families are very active and love to be outdoors. The house and the surrounding grounds were perfect for us. We were able to jump on the boats and run out the Atlantic or stay on the Gulfside. The fishing at both bridges was great. Lower Keys Tackle set us up perfectly with rigs and baits.

Having the pool on site was perfect for those that were tired of being on the boat. The location served us well for everything from exploring Key West to Parasailing in Marathon.

The layout of the house worked out great and it was very comfortable. The spaciousness made sure that nobody got on each others nerves.

The kitchen was well appointed and was great for the nights that we decided to stay in and cook. For the nights that we ate out No Name Pub was great. A big thank you to Boondocks for feeding us very late one night after we got off the boats very late.

Michelle was great to work with and we look forward to staying here again someday. Thanks again for everything.

Wonderful home

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 4 couples. This home was the perfect home for us. I am glad we stayed on Big Pine. The restaurants and grocery store were wonderful. It was a quick drive to key west. We were able to fish from the dock while others were sleeping. The beds were very comfortable and the home was well equipped. Everyone was very helpful. We will be back and book this home again.

Truly Unique and Beautiful Keys Property!!!

  • 5 of 5

WOW!!! LOOK NO FURTHER!!!! From the moment you enter the private drive to this 15 acre estate, you are surrounded by gorgeous and meticulously maintained grounds and lovely landscaping teeming with local birds and wildlife, including some VERY friendly Key deer. They greeted us as we unpacked and were a welcome and pleasant source of amusement during our stay. We arrived at night and Michelle was gracious enough to have the perimeter lights on which not only illuminated this beautiful house, but sure made for a welcoming arrival. We were impressed by the soaring ceilings, high quality and tasteful decorating, spacious layout, well stocked kitchen, and attention to detail that was on par with the finest hotels. It had been a long day, so we turned in on some very comfortable beds and everyone in our group slept well. What we awoke to was even more spectacular - the orange glow of a sunrise over Spanish Harbor revealed what we couldn't see in the dark. Sprawling grounds with basketball and beach volleyball courts, a young coconut grove framing neatly planned pathways leading to the boat harbor, a hidden canal with several very nice kayaks, and even a golf cart for the convenience of guests. It is an understatement to say that this place is grand. The pool is large, deep at one end, well appointed with lounges and floats, and is as spotless as everything else. My daughters and our German exchange student had found their paradise! We spent our days on the water - a short boat ride to the reefs or backcountry for some fishing - usually returning in the evening to the private boat harbor framed by beautiful coral pink Keys sunsets. The harbor was great, excellent access, nice fish station, convenient fresh water. We took day trips to Key West, Bahia Honda, and the Turtle Rescue, while the ladies enjoyed nearby shopping and casual lunches. The No Name Bar is close by either car or boat and dinner at the Square Grouper was amazing. As nice as this property looks in the pictures, I can honestly say that they do not do it justice. No disappointments and so well worth the price - nothing to do but relax in the warm Keys sunshine. We have rented in the Keys yearly, with the intention of always moving around to experience new places. We have always been fortunate enough to find great rentals, but this year I did something I've never done before. I re-booked before we even left. This property is everything it looks like and SOOOOOOO much more. Thank you!!!!!

Wonderful rental

  • 5 of 5

My family and I have been making annual trips to the Keys for over 10 years. Each year we stay in a different location, but we have found a keeper with this rental. Michelle was a pleasure to work with from day 1. The rental is a beautiful estate. We especially loved everyone having their own bedrooms and bathrooms. My children (ages 3 & 7) enjoyed petting the key deer every morning and every evening. The pool was a huge hit and the biggest of any rental we've been in so far. The house was very clean and I was extremely impressed with the amenities that the house was stocked with. My family and I will be back next year!!! Thanks for everything Michelle!
