Our condo is situated within the Scottsdale Mission complex which has two heated pools and jacuzzi's, workout room, tennis court and BBQ's. The complex is well maintained with beautiful green areas, fountains, and ponds. Our condo is very close to the pool and is at the back of the complex to ensure your stay will be lovely and quiet.

The 101 Freeway is close so everything in Scottsdale is within easy reach. We are within walking distance to banks, shops and restaurants, and the beautiful Scottsdale greenbelt where you can run or walk for miles. Scottsdale is also full of some of the country’s best golf courses and is the spring training base of several MLB teams.

Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area is full of great things to do from shopping at Kierland Commons or Fashion Square to hiking Camelback Mountain. Museums, art galleries, world class spas and healthcare are all close by. Flagstaff and Sedona are within an easy day trip distance. The Grand Canyon is 4 hours’ drive away. Las Vegas is 4-5 hours away. And Tucson, the Pima Air Museum, the Titan Missile Museum (the only surviving Titan Missile Silo still in existence), and famed Tombstone, AZ ('The town too tough to die', and home of the Gunfight at the OK Corral) are all an easy day trip away.

We looked at many properties during our search for a condo and fell in love with this one as soon as we walked into it. It was in immaculate condition and obviously cared for by the previous owner, and the location is perfect.

What makes this condo unique

Close to everything including restaurants, shops, world class health care, It's proximity to the 101 freeway is also a bonus.

The complex is very quiet and friendly and very well maintained.

Excellent value with superb amenities

This condo was perfect for us. We adopted a baby in Arizona and quickly needed a place to call home for a couple of weeks. Ernie was wonderfully accommodating and quickly made the arrangements (even from Australia). The couches and beds were super comfy and the electronics and appliances were all new and top notch. We made use of the community pool and fitness room which was great. It was conveniently located near the highway entrance and shopping. Safe neighborhood!

Comfortable, secure... perfect

If I owned a condo in AZ, this is exactly how I would furnish it. Everything is comfortable and in great condition. Thoughtful touches are evident from the art on the walls to the dishes in the kitchen to the high standards of linens. Communicating with Ernie was easy (in fact, downright pleasant)... and there was absolutely nothing to complain about or question. All appliances had useful instructions or were intuitively run. We felt completely safe in the neighborhood, and appreciated the ground floor situation. If you do use this property, I strongly suggest getting very detailed instructions on how to get to the unit. We're not familiar with AZ complex living and wandered a bit before finding the place. We don't golf or hike, but totally enjoyed the museums, botanic garden, restaurants (although cooking in the condo was very easy and convenient), Frank Lloyd Wright house/tour, but left enough of interest that we hope to return in January 2015. We've rented condos/cottages/cabins all over the world; this is by far the best and has our unreserved recommendation.

Great Rental in a Convenient Location

We very much enjoyed our stay in this property. We were pleased with the condition on arrival and would note that the pictures on the site are completely accurate. Everything you will need is furnished and it is all first class! The owners are very friendly and helpful, and even though we had a slight problem, they took care of it promptly. We were even surprised to find a welcoming gift on our arrival. Grocery and other shopping is nearby, as is a great selection of restaurants. Our only disappointment was finding out that we would not be able to return next year. The property is highly recommended.

Great Condo, Super Location

My wife and I love to come to the Phoenix area to golf and take in some sporting events, and of course escape some of the cold weather we get in Southern Alberta. We hadn’t used VRBO before but after logging on and finding out how easy it is to use the website, it wasn’t long before one of the units jumped out at us. We thought we would email the owners for more information and check for availability. Right from the first email, the owners (Ernie & Judy), were outstanding to deal with. We exchanged many emails from that point on and at one point Ernie called us just to verify the condo was everything we would need. All the pictures and description were bang on. It was a great vacation mostly because of the great condo we had picked! First of all the location can’t be any better. The accesses to main arteries (Shea Blvd. & the 101 freeway) are ridiculously close yet the condo is in a very quiet area. This made travel exceptionally easy to every where we wanted to go. The single attached garage proved to be a great asset as we could keep our rental car inside and store our golf clubs etc. Once inside the 2 bedroom unit, it is quite evident these people take great pride in their vacation property. Everything is in immaculate condition from the quartz counter tops to the high end “Cuisinart” appliances. It had everything and more that we required! The huge big screen TV in the living room was nice to just sit around and relax after a day on the golf course with the patio doors open to warm to the Arizona evenings. The master bedroom which had a very comfortable king bed also had a big screen TV to watch. Having a huge ensuite was also very nice feature. The unit is set up perfectly with another bathroom/shower for the second bedroom. This layout works well for singles or couples traveling together. The bedrooms/baths are on opposite sides of the living/breakfast rooms and kitchen, which gives more privacy. We could go on and on but to make a long story short this unit will not disappoint anyone looking for 2 bedrooms or in this case it was just the 2 of us so it also was a perfect fit. As far as the rest of the property goes it also did not disappoint. There are bar-b-ques placed strategically throughout the property to use although they could use some upgrading. The 2 pools and hot tubs were great to hang out at and this unit is about a 30 sec. walk to one of them. Much nicer than we expected! Great experience!

The amenities in this condo were newly updated & very top of the line quality. All modern appliances, big screen TV with all the extras, plenty of kitchenware,& comfy, new sofas,The only thing missing for us was a bar-b-que grill & that was easily solved by purchasing a small one. There are 2 pools in this complex--one is quite close to this unit & is the smaller of the 2 & was used mainly by older adults, if at all, which made it seem like it was our own private pool. The larger pool at the far end of the complex seemed to be used more by families & younger adults. There are many nice restaurants & golf courses in the area. Lots of shopping, grocery stores, etc.close by. There are 29 miles of paved bike trails around Scottsdale & the condo is only a few blocks from an entrance to them. We used those a lot & got to see a lot of the town that way. All in all, this is a great property, in a great location & the owners are very nice & quite helpful & willing to be contacted for assistance. I would recommend it to friends & not hesitate in staying there again. We had never used VRBO or Pay Pal before & were nervous about that, as well as the owners being in Australia, but it all went without any problems thanks to the helpfulness & kindness of the owners.

Excellent Condo for a Scottsdale Vacation

This is a fantasic condo with EVERYTHING you would ever need plus more. The kitchen is fully stocked with all gadgets, dishes, etc.. We hardly had a chance to use everything that is available but you need to bring nothing but yourself. Great location near all points of interest. The owners are super nice people, wonderful to deal with. Condo was clean with all updated fixtures, furniture, appliances, etc... Condo is steps from the pool and having an attached garage really makes it feel like home. Nice complex with friendly neigbors that gave us some info on what was going on in town, (car show, art fair, etc..). We love Scottsdale & why not stay in a "home" other than 4 walls in a hotel. Thank you Ernie & Judith.
