Resort with Gorgeous Beach and Pool

Enjoy an Ocean View room with over 1,000 square feet of luxury, including bedroom with king-size bed and walk-in closet; sitting area with table and chairs; and a fully equipped kitchen with stove, double-sided refrigerator, microwave, double sinks, dishwasher, all utensils and bar sitting area. A large living room features a sleeper sofa, ottoman and sitting area; spacious bathroom with separate glass-enclosed shower, deep-soaking tub and vanity area; laundry with stackable washer and dryer; and all of our standard guest room amenities. The Trump International has all the luxury you would expect from a Trump property, and more. The hotel itself is on Collins Avenue and faces the Sunny Isles Beaches. Close to both the luxurious Bal Harbour Shops and South Beach, the hotel is situated on 12 miles of sandy white beach. The hotel is undoubtedly a resort in and unto itself. The fitness center features cardiovascular equipment and weight training machines, certified personal trainers available by appointment, a co-ed lounge offering a calming environment for pre- and post-therapy relaxation, complimentary refreshments such as juice, fruit, water and tea and men's and women's changing rooms, each with steam room, sauna, lockers, showers and restroom facilities. The Aquanox Spa offers 6 treatment rooms for total facial, skin care and body treatments to relax and energize. The oceanfront pool is a great way to spend an afternoon and guests will find jet ski/catamaran/sailboards and kayak hire at reasonable prices. All guest rooms are elegantly decorated with sumptuous dark walnut furnishings and all the amenities and gadgets a 21st century traveler could ever want or need: CD players, high speed internet connection, high-end toiletries, bathrobes, microwaves, wet bars and a refrigerator. The Trump International offers two on-premise dining options: Neomi's, the resort's signature restaurant, which overlooks the Atlantic and pool deck with indoor and patio dining with a menu that is a blend of Contemporary American and tropical fare. Gili's Pool Bar and Grill is the perfect place for a quick bite or lazy lunch. They serve a lighter fare such as salads, sandwiches and snacks, as well as cool, refreshing beverages.

Everything was perfect. Very nice hotel and very nice Suite. Don't think it twice. Very well located. Many restaurants on the same road of the hotel. Aventura Mall within 5 minutes. Pool and beach areas are very nice!!

Dirty, not maintained

I stayed at this condo with my husband and 2 young daughters. We had stayed at the hotel the previous year and were excited to come back to the pool and beach. We had a horrible experience with renting this condo. The condo was not maintained. The owner was unresponsive at times. We had to call HomeAway.com and the hotel to try to get someone to intervene to help us get our security deposit back. The whole experience was a nightmare.

We were very disappointed in the state of the condo. The inside chairs ALL were stained and most were ripped. The window and window sills were all dusty. There was a big hairball in the kitchen sink. The outdoor chairs were broken, so that you could not sit in them, making the balcony unusable. There was a lot of bird poop on the balcony like no one has cleaned it in awhile. There was soap scum all over the shower door. There were stains on the cabinets. There was food stuck to the cabinets and plates. The floor tile in the kitchen was broken in spots....I could go on and on. In short, the condo was not clean nor maintained.

Not to mention the carpeting in the hallways was been replaced while we were there. The construction men were surprised to see us when we opened the door the first morning to leave the condo. They said no one was supposed to be on the floor during construction. I confirmed it with the front desk, the owner had been advised not to rent the condo during that week, but she did anyways, money in her pocket. It was dangerous and inconvenient for us to be on the floor as construction was going on. Tools were left lying on the floor, carpeting was ripped up, men were working, etc and we had to walk past with our 2 young daughters in strollers every time we left the condo. The owner knew we were coming with our 2 young daughters and had not even given us a heads up about the construction.

Our last problem was getting our security deposit back. The owner didn't respond to my emails when I questioned when to expect the money back. I waited the 14 days as the contract suggested, still nothing. So I had to call HomeAway and the hotel to intervene to get our money back. It was a NIGHTMARE.

Please contact me if you have any questions on this review. I also have pictures to back up my statements about the condition of the condo. I paid a lot of money to stay here and was hugely disappointed.

Amazing stay! Best views in town!

Property was as advertised. Best location and best views in Sunny Isles. Excellent owner, everything was easy, from booking to check in to check out. A pleasure to deal with!! Unit was clean and had plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. The resort itself is 5 star, beach and pool are amazing. Thanks for an excellent stay!

Great views and very comfortable 1 bedroom suite

Second time I stay in this property. I really like it. I have 2 kids (1 & 3 years old) and it's very spacious, quiet, and comfortable for them. The room is huge, and so is the bathroom. The living room has a sofa bed so it's perfect for kids.

The views are great because you can enjoy all of them (street, pool and beach). It's a low floor, so you can see everything perfectly. My little boy spent quite a few time just looking outside the window.

The windows which lead to the balcony are very heavy, making them impossible for kids to open. For me, this is a plus. I didn't have to worry about the balcony.

Kitchen supplies are for 4 people. Nothing spectacular, but good for a few days. It would be nice to have newer things, but it's alright for a few days.

Cleaning upon arrival could be better. The 1st time I went there was a vacuum, and came in very handy to keep the carpets clean with kids. It was gone this last time; maybe somebody broke it.

There are plenty of towels and sheets, and having the washing machine and dryer is spectacular.

A little maintenance would be appreciated (a bit of painting, new curtains), nothing drastic.

Overall, I love the apartment, and so do my kids. I recommend it, and will keep going as long as I can afford it.

And if issues arise during your stay, they are taken care with speed. This is also very important.
