Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Michele and Charles,

We had a great time. The beach life is the best vacation. Your house was clean and comfortable. The yard was awesome! I would like to come back in June and July for 4 weeks next year. Everyone thought it was a wonderful house. Thank you! Maureen

Ditto on the last review written!! A very central location within walking distance to everything but yet sit on the deck or on the large picnic table in a beautiful backyard and enjoy the peace and quiet! There were 10 of us including 3 grandchildren and we took advantage of the yard to play all sorts of games from bean bag toss to whiffle ball. Of course I did the grilling on the BBQ.

Also Michelle left all kinds of literature on where to go and where to eat around town, it was very useful! I lived in Narragansett 17 years and this was my first time back in 5 years and I couldn't of picked a better place to stay.

We had a great vacation, as the grandkids left a note on the frig when we left summing up our week as awesome! I couldn't of said more!

A vacation home I would rent agin

  • 5 of 5

We just concluded a 2 week stay at this vacation home and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place within walking distance to the beach but located on a quiet side street.

The deck off the kitchen was very nice and the fenced yard is enormous- a great place to play games or let the dogs(2 golden retrievers in our case) run around.

We were impressed with the thoughtful touches that we found upon arrival- a nice bowl of fruit and cold bottled water in the refrigerator, dog dishes and treats for the dogs and, knowing we were there for a family wedding, they even thought of the happy couple.

The house was well maintained and Michele(the owner) was attentive and available if we needed anything. We found the set up of the house was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms good sized. The kitchen was large enough and well equipped for food prep, the dining room was able to accommodate 8-10 of us and our guests and the living room was cozy and comfortable.

In short, we enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend it and would like to return.

Owner's Response: Hello Margaret, Thank you for the wonderful review! We were so happy to hear that you had a great vacation. And also glad to hear the dogs and your family enjoyed the yard. We try to make our home welcoming and comfortable for all of our guests. I have to also compliment you for taking good care of our property. We really appreciate your efforts! We were excited to see your daughter (the bride) and her husband (the groom).by the Towers on the evening of the wedding. They make a lovel couple. We were pleased that the weather was good and your wedding worked out well. We are hopeful that you and your family will return soon because you were the 'perfect guests'. Thanks again! Best Regards, Michele & Chick

Best place we've ever stayed in Narragansett!

  • 4 of 5

We've been coming to Narragansett for 13 years and always stay in the 'pier area' because we like the relaxed feel and type of people that come here. This house is the best we've ever rented. You've provided everything! The kitchen is well-equipped, the bedrooms large and bright with plenty of closet space and comfortable beds, a great laundry room with a door and extra shower, a nicely laid out dining/living area so we could all have our own space and a beautiful deck and large fenced back yard. The outside shower was very popular and we liked the desk area in the front foyer to 'work from home'.Yes,we were able to keep in touch with our offices and still enjoy being at the beach with our family! The front porch was cool and breezy for morning coffee or in the evening after the beach with a drink and a private place to sit and chat and watch a summer rain storm pass through. We took some fabulous family photos on the front porch with the blooming hydrangeas! We had various family members join us at different intervals throughout the 2 weeks and the house and yard was perfect for gathering young and old. We played wiffle ball and set up a badminton/volley ball net and enjoyed some good competition. The teens in our family enjoyed having a place to lounge and watch tv without bothering the adults. Everything we needed was furnished by you! We anticipated needing a lot more, and brought it with us, but kept it packed away because you furnished EVERYTHING.

What a clean,comfortable house-with a perfect back yard!

The street is quiet and little traffic, yet close to shopping and the beach. We enjoyed walking to the beach, the seawall and towers and around the pier area. Easy walking from this house!

Great yard and walking for the dogs, too! Nice to be able to let them run in the yard without worrying about them.

We brought our kayaks and enjoyed using them on the Narrow River. The guys fished from the rocks at Cronin & Black Point we got take out from Aunt Carries and sat overlooking the water by the Pt Judith Coast guard lighthouse, enjoying chowder, fried whole belly clams and lobster rolls. We bought crabs and oysters in Galilee for appetizers for one of our cookout nights. Mostly though, our family enjoyed being together in your wonderful house. Thank you for a memorable vacation. We hope we can return next year!

Owner's Response: Dear Donna, What a wonderful review!! We do try very hard to make our guests happy and it is nice to know that our efforts are appreciated! Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to share your impression of our property in such detail. We were happy to hear that the house was enjoyed by everyone in the family including your pets. And you were all wise to take full advantage of the beautiful yard! I have added to our property description that the house is in close proximity to the Narrow River (thanks to you and your husband). It's obvious that you really know Narragansett and you were able to visit many of the special restaurants and places that make our town such a great place to experience while on vacation. We really hope that you and your family will be able to visit again next Summer. It was a pleasure to have you as our guests! Sincerely, Michele & Charles

Great location

  • 5 of 5

The property was accurately described in the listing. Very clean and well taken care of. The new shower was extremely helpful for us since we had 10 people the last two nights. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed both the porch and the deck spaces. We were there for our daughter's wedding at the Towers. The foyer space was great for getting ready. The beautiful and very well cared for backyard ended up being perfect for our family photos! We loved the location and walked to town at least once a day. The fireworks on the 4 th were fabulous ( we were at Spain that night) and the wedding at the Towers was beyond our expectations. Having a great place to stay made it even better. I only wish we could ave stayed another week.

Great place to stay in lovely town!

  • 5 of 5

This was our 3rd year back to Narragansett and as usual we really enjoyed our stay and could not ask for more in a home rental! Its so nice to have a relaxing home and super yard to come back to after the beach or fishing and with everything so close (restaurants, fishing, parks) it was great. And we can't stress enough our appreciation that our dogs are welcomed too and have such a big fenced in yard to enjoy

Thank you!!!

We loved this house. It was a family vaca with lots of folks coming and going but when we were all present, there were 8 of us including a two year old plus our dog. The house is laid out great and worked for our family. The location is perfect with a 10 minute walk to the town beach, restaurants, sights, etc. it was the perfect place for a much anticipated week away. We just got home two hours ago and we are ready to go back!
