Welcome to our beautiful Hawaiian Home! At just under 1,500 square feet our condo is situated in the beautiful, immaculate garden setting of Keauhou Punahele. This luxurious 3rd floor end unit enjoys beautiful ocean and mauka (mountain) breezes and has fabulous panoramic ocean and golf course views from the kitchen, dining and living rooms, lanai and also from the master bedroom.

This 3 bedroom (including the loft area), 3 bath unit overlooks the pool area of the complex as well as the seventh and eighth fairways of the Kona Country Club golf course. Enjoy waking up to beautiful sunrises as the sun lights the golf course, the manicured grounds and surrounding area. Enjoy spectacular sunsets while you barbecue on your private lanai (one of the few condo complexes that allow barbecuing on your lanai!), or just relax and soak in the hot tub (again one of the few condos that features a spa).

This condominium was completely renovated in 2011. It has new tile on the entire lower level floor, new carpet in the loft, a completely new custom kitchen with eating bar, new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops throughout, all new master and main level bathrooms, new furniture in the living room, master bedroom and lanai, a new walk-in tiled master shower, new linens, etc. The pictures don’t lie – this place will take your breath away. All bedrooms, living areas and the lanai have new ceiling fans. This open 3rd floor plan with its high cathedral ceilings provides an airy ambience. Truly relax in our condo with the spaciousness and beauty of your own home.

The master bedroom features a beautiful king-size four poster teak bed. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed. Both main level bedrooms have commanding views of the mauka (mountains). The open loft has one queen size bed and two fold down futon beds, big enough for 2 children or one adult each. Two families can vacation together with up to 6 kids up in the loft with their own bathroom and shower!

The condominium is away from the noise of the crowds but still only a 10 minute drive to Kailua Town center. It is within easy walking distance to Keauhou Bay where most island tours, sailing, and kayaking begin. Also within walking distance of the Kona Golf and Country Club clubhouse. The Keauhou Shopping Center nearby has a supermarket, drug store, several restaurants, a post office, seven-screen movie theatre, and much more. Several walking/jogging/cycling pathways lead from the condo to start a fresh and fit day. 3 Night mininum stay/10 during Ironman & Christmas. This is a non-smoking unit.

Terrific place in an ideal location

This a wonderful place to stay. It was perfect for our group of 7 (two adults and 5 kids, ages 13-18), with enough room for everyone. The place was very clean and spacious. It was nice to be able to cook our own meals each day too. The location was perfect for us. There's a place to snorkel just a few minutes away where we saw a lot of fishes and a couple of turtles each time we went. Walmart, Target and Costco are only about 20-25 minutes away, where we bought food and supplies. You won't be disappointed staying here.

This was our first time to the Big Island. This condo worked out perfectly for us. My requests were a 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, lanai, washer & dryer and swimming pool, this condo met all of our needs. It was very clean. We had coffee every morning and dinner in the evening on the lanai. The 2 king size beds were very comfortable with a nice breeze at night. There is traffic noise and birds chirping but it didn't bother us as we brought along a little white noise maker machine. Nice roomy bathrooms. We enjoyed the views from kitchen window and lanai. Loved the openeness of the sliding glass doors. It was well stocked with snorkel equipment, beach towels, coolers, beach umbrellas and guide books. The location worked out very well for us. Close to grocery store, restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed walking to the Sheraton to watch the sunset. It was a close drive to Kona town, snorkeling at 2 step and an area called "The End of the World," where the surf splashes against big lava rocks, it was beautiful to watch! This was also my first experience with a VRBO and I must say that Wayne made it a very easy and pleasant one. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful 3 generation vacation

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this wonderful condo. It was open and spacious with lots of storage and a large walk-in closet in the master suite.The condo was clean and comfortable; it was well stocked with all the amenities - coolers, towels, and umbrellas for the beach, cleaning supplies for mishaps, spices for "home" cooking etc. The location was ideal - a 3 minute drive to our favorite snorkeling spot - Kahaluu Beach and maybe 10 minutes down to Kona (town); the Kona Country Club Golf Course and the Sheraton (place for my son-in-law's conference) were within 5 minutes. The grounds were nice and the views from the kitchen and our lanai were fabulous; we ate breakfast out on the lanai every morning, and watched the sunset from there many evenings. The pool was clean, big and wonderful to relax in at night after a busy day. Multiple fans in the downstairs and the loft, plus the sun screens for the lanai (which we didn't use) kept the unit comfortable (without air conditioning). We didn't open windows at night as Wayne (the owner) had warned us - the birds are plentiful and very talkative in the morning. We were aware of the noise but it didn't bother us. The assigned parking space was right in front of the stairs to the condo - which were no problem for me (I'm in my late sixties). The open spiral staircase and loft were made off-limits to my 5 and 7 year old grandchildren unless accompanied by an adult as they proved to be too much of a temptation.

We loved our vacation at this condo and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The owner (Wayne) was very helpful (especially dealing with my inadequate computer skills) and made the whole rental process run smoothly. Thanks again for allowing us to share your Hawaiian paradise.

Great place

Our two families loved this condo on the sunny side of the big island. It's only 2 miles down to some of the best snorkeling area and close to the coffee tasting areas. The kids enjoyed the pool - not sure why they would rather swim there than in the warm ocean but it seems like that is what kids do. It was great to have beach equipment in the condo like chairs and umbrellas that we could borrow. The well appointed kitchen and BBQ helped us save cash by eating a lot of our meals in. We weathered tropical storm Darby with just a little rain and wind. We were there during a hot spell so needed the fans and open windows to cool it down when we returned each day. SO much to do we didn't even use the TV. Wayne provided a lot of tips on places to eat and things to do that were helpful - a very smooth experience! Thank you for a great stay in a great place!

Wonderful Vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation and really enjoyed staying in the condo. The owners were flexible and accommodating. We spent a lot of time on the lanai, partly because it was hot and partly because we enjoyed the view and watching the birds (and those mongoose too!). Perfect location, easy drive anywhere and not too bad to see the volcano when you plan to spend a day there anyway. The fans helped a lot!
