“Brookside” offers families and couples a unique Vermont vacation experience. Boasting the most serene location in Killington that incorporates utmost privacy, Killington golf course frontage, Roaring Brook frontage and some of the most incredible mountain views in Killington. The private setting was the motivation for the interior design that highlights the natural beauty of this amazing property. And best of all it is just 1.2 miles from the slopes.

A large open gourmet kitchen, with island and gas cooktop, is ideal for cooking and entertaining large groups in an open spacious area. The kitchen is equipped with new skillets, sauce pans, baking pans and roosting pans along with new high-end dishes and bowls. Brookside is a chefs paradise. The large home boasts 5 bedrooms with 4 full baths coupled with numerous living room and sitting areas. The six person hot tub spa on the deck offers spectacular Killington mountain views, along with acres of snow driven vistas of the 4th and 5th holes of the Killington golf course. All while the beautiful and relaxing Roaring Brook sings in the background. Brookside is one of the closest homes to the Killington base lodge and is minutes from the slopes. This beautiful house has high speed wireless Internet, and cable TV programming for the three plasma TV’s. The beds have all recently been updated with brand new Simmons Beautyrest Plush Mattresses along with all new sheets and linens.

There is a detached garage on property with studio that is not occupied during rentals.

The house is equipped with six sets of new snowshoes for exploring. When you want to relax indoors, there are two large wood burning fireplaces, with fire wood.

If you are using the “Request to Book” feature please provide us with the following information with your Reservation Request.

1. Number of adults in party and their ages.

2. Will the adults be traveling as couples or singles.

3. Number of children in party and their ages.

4. Occupation of adults.

5. Location of primary residences for adults.

Providing us with this information allows the screening process to be conducted in the 24 hour window that Homeaway/VRBO provides owners to accept “Request to Book” reservation requests.

If we decline your Reservation Request your Homeaway/VRBO deposit will be fully refunded.

Unfortunately Brookside is only available to families and couples not to groups of single young adults.

A $2000 refundable security deposit is required for booking Brookside which will be returned after inspection from our local property manager.

Rates are firm and DO include all cleaning fees. Quality towels, sheets, comforters, bar soaps and shampoo are included in each bedroom.

After we “Accept the Reservation” at this time your credit card will be charged the Homeaway/VRBO service fee. This fee is paid directly to Homeaway/VRBO, not to the property owner. Your reservation will then be held for 7 days. This gives you time to transfer money, or mail a check that equals 50% of the cost of your rental . The remaining 50% along with the $2,500 security deposit will need to be received no later than 10 days prior to your check-in date. The Homeaway/VRBO payment system does an excellent job of walking you through this process.


Please make sure you include the completed and signed “Lease Agreement” with your initial deposit. It is attached to the system as a PDF.

Why Bob McGovern chose Killington Area

Large open gourmet kitchen with island and gas cooktop. Ideal for cooking and entertaining large groups in an open spacious area. Kitchen is equipped with new skillets, sauce pans, baking pans, roosting pas and new high-end dishes and bowls. New gourmet knife set added in 2014. Brookside is a chefs dream come true. He/she can work their craft as their friends and family sit around the island observing, conversing and sharing their favorite beverages.

Brookside has wonderful and luxurious finishes throughout the property. It is a large home yet very private, awesome views. 6 person hottub.

There is a detached garage on property with a studio apartment above that is not rented and is usually unoccupied during your stay.

Over 400ft on Golf Course that is seperated by Roaring Brook in your very own park like setting. Spectacular views of Killington mountain range. Close to Mountain and nightlife. Can walk to Wobbly Barn

Brookside is awesome, car port used all weekend with the crazy snow, and jacuzzi is wonderful. The snow shoes were used, as was almost every bed, pan, and plate. Your kitchen is perfectly stocked. Thanks for fitting us in a day early and for accommodating the scheduling of President's Weekend. We couldn't have picked a more perfect location from the mountain and the shops.

Perfect for a our family reunion...

Brookside was amazing on hole 4 of Killington Golf Course... we loved sharing memories around the fire pit with family we hadn't seen in 9 plus years... soooo much room for everyone to sleep comfortably, very comfortably, with plenty of private space for everybody! The large open kitchen was perfect for anyone that wanted to join in the cooking and the outdoor BBQ was an added bonus for 4th of July festivities.. next to the Roaring Brook itself, the huge backyard was just wonderful.. we brought our own badminton, bocce and frisbees...plenty of yard to play them all at the same time.. oh yeah and the youngins collected over shot golf balls from the brook as well!! With family coming from Canada, New Jersey and Vermont , we will definitely be making this our gathering spot in the future. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!!

very clean, roomy property.

Very well laid out floor plan provided plenty of room to group get together, yet privacy with various private spaces. Separate basement facilities with walk oitnto hot tub are favorable. Easy access to skiimgnand golf a plus. Heating very efficient. Fireplace sometimes caused some kick backnof smoke to house when fire dies down, due probably to shallow unit. An outside air spires to vent the fire would help mitigate this, but probably not practical at this point.

Layout of yard and views of mountain are spectacular. Bedding top notch and very comfortable.

Beautiful piece of property. Interior was equpieid with very nice furniture and workmanship.

Very well maintained, clean, floor plan worked well for a large group. The views were spectacular, or both the mountain and gold course. We will consider coming back in the spring to play golf. Rental agent was very patient with our questions, and accommodating to our needs.

Awesome ski house for skiing Killington

The house was the perfect size for our 2 familes - 4 adults and 6 kids. House was clean, stocked with basic essentials and owner provided a very helpful list of places to go to eat, order in, etc. The drive to the mountain and proximity to the town are ideal. We would 100% stay in this house again!

As our family head count gets bigger it was great to have such a beautiful home to post up in. Enough room for all while still remaining personal. The obvious recent renovations are spectacular. As is the setting and the proximity to all the premier spots on Killington road. I liked it so much I would recommend it to my boss. Let’s do it again.

Perfect House for Family Ski Vacation

My family enjoyed a great four day stay at this home which comfortably fit 6 adults and 5 children. The home is well appointed and the owners pay great attention to small details which make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The proximity to the mountain including wonderful views and private setting were also a bonus. Heidi was also extremely helpful and responsive during our stay. We look forward to returning next year!
